If a random guy approaches you, is it a sign of interest or just being friendly?

This guy from my class approached me when we were leaving today after our test and he had never talked to me before. He only talked to me about the test, but I was wondering if it is potentially a sign of interest? Are there any ways to know if he is interested based on our conversation? Do guys talk to random girls they aren't interested in? I'm clueless...

I would definitely say that he's a player ...as it seems like you haven't even been giving him any clues as to if you wanted him to approach you.

I wouldn't be surprised if he would pump you and dump you (then again, I could be wrong)

Anyway, chances are he is interested. But some guys actually are just nice to girls because they're actually nice guys. So who knows. You'd have to read body language, words used, tone, etc.

Both. He is just being friendly but at the same time he has some interest in you. And if he keeps randomly talking to you especially if he talks to "only you" then that is a clear sign that he likes you. :)
