Hey, so I met a guy around 7 yr ago while I was working in a restaurant, he asked for my number &then a few weeks later I got a train to see him for the weekend. We got on really really well but I didn’t sleep with him as wernt officially dating, we spoke for months after but I ended up going travelling& when I got back he had a girlfriend, I ended up in a 3 year relationship but then we both somehow ended up single at the same time, he contacted me (as must have seen I deleted all photos of ex) we went on a date and the date was just amazing I can’t explain the butterfly feeling he gives me. Still didn’t sleep with him as I’m old fashioned and we weren’t exclusive.. anyways after the date I got back with my ex and we didn’t speak. A year later I’m single & he gets in touch asking if I’m okay and randomly turned up at my house with flowers to cheer me up. we end up talking for a few weeks and he’s asking me why I never make effort to talk to him and why he’s always chasing me (he’s a basketball player so I’m kind of wary that he’s talking to loads of other girls & I’m a bit shy I’m nowhere near as hot) by the way we still haven’t had sex but just having a really nice connection. Again he goes radio Silent on me.. so fast forward a few months and he rings me drunk saying I’m the only person he’s ever loved and he’s so nervous around me etc.. I thought I would make more effort with him so I start finally messaging first and stuff and we plan to have a night away and we talk about having sex & it gets quiet passionate. then again he goes radio silent. so a month goes by & after hearing nothing from him he pops up merry Christmas I love you & one day your going to be my wife which is random as hell since he practically ghosted me twice this year? Then after talking every night on the phone he’s gone silent again? am I reading this all wrong does he even like me or what? or am I just not making enough effort? & no he doesn’t have a wife or a girlfriend I know his family

I read it as a let down which when he commented he'd gone out with simple minded overly attractive cheap & sleazy women - one he even called a horror story himself - before is a rather shitty insult.

The thing is, is we had engaging interesting conversation before the date. And I am not unattractive - that is something many people have said. Yes I put on some weight due to Covid but I blatantly told the guy on our date I'm working to loose it, even spending 3 hours each time at gym various times in the week.

If, say, 4 months have passed in a breakup and the two people talk to catch up. The girl tells him she hasn’t been with any other men since him. How does this make the man feel? Will this just boost his ego or will he feel more likely to want her back since she’s so loyal to him?

For context, I'm 17F, and a Senior in high school. My bus gets there pretty early, about 5 minutes before the others do. A while back, I met a guy. Let's call him Ryan (17M). And once he arrives at school, he always comes and sits down next to me on the stairs. For the last two or so months, he's been getting really close to me. And I don't know if he's leading me on, or whether or not he likes me. So, I'm going to list 3-4 things, and hopefully, I can get some advice on that.

• 1: At an assembly a few weeks ago, he was just sitting there, looking into my eyes, not saying anything. And then one of my friends suggests he should sit and turn around so he could see, and he came up and sat next to me, and was leaning into me the entire assembly, showing me stuff on his phone.
• 2: A week + 1/2 ago, I carried a baggy red overcoat to school, and I had set it down on the stairs. We talked normally, and when we went to get up, he grabbed it, took off his hoodie, and put it on. I wore his, and he wore mine, for the day. He returned my overcoat back to me but didn't want to take his hoodie back, so I still have it.
• 3: About 2 days ago, he took my hand and was comparing his hand's size to mine. (mine is significantly smaller.) He turned my wrist over, and took the bracelet that I was wearing, off. Then again, he wore it for the whole day and then gave it back.
• 4: Yesterday, we were sitting, and he asked to play the game I was playing. I handed him my phone, and he was just playing. I was talking with someone, and was just letting him mindlessly play. He poked my side, told me it had turned off, and went to hand me the phone. Since I was busy I just told him the code. (a mistake I know.) My other friend left, and I looked over and he was just mindlessly scrolling through my phone, going through my photos and apps. (I had a few photos of him in my phone, which he smiled at.)

And here we are. Advice?

28F, I’ve had this guy following me on IG for maybe 2+ years. We matched on a dating app a while back, I think he remembers the timeline better than I do. He ended up following me on IG, we msged a bit & ever so often he’d like my photos or send me a message. I usually left him on read, we spoke on the phone for the first time in 2021. We’re from the same state but he moved PST for work, he offered to pay to fly me to where he lives & would pay for the hotel too. I told him that I’d need to get to know someone a bit better before making such a drastic move. That’s when the convo was initiated over the phone, he seemed like a pretty cool guy it was a good talk but I knew it was long distance & saw it as more of a pen pal. We didn’t message for a few months after he left a message of mine on read (he offered to play a virtual game with me but never followed through), he ended up contacting again after my dog died. It’s back to the emojis & liking my photos.

yesterday, a guy that was interested in getting to know me called me. It was a voice call and then end up being a FaceTime call. We stayed on the phone for 39 minutes , for the voice call, then my phone died and I called back and we ended the conversation with another 49 minute facetime call (2 separate calls). But today, which is the next day, he hasn’t said anything at all. he hasn’t called again or texted me at all and I’m wondering if I reach out. Would that make me seem desperate? Should I just wait on him to reach out again? What should i do? Thanks in advance.

English is not my first language so my grammar and such might be off.

So I'm the youngest of my siblings and have a niece 21 and nephew 18 from my sisters. And I am 22. Si one day the three of us went shopping and the store owner is very familiar to my family but first time meeting me. So on that day I kept looking in his direction without letting him notice cause damn he is so handsome. But I was super quiet other than shaking his hand and saying hi and goodbye.

He was helping us out but I kept every now and then turning to his direction and would catch him staring with a slight smile but quickly looking away when he sees me looking.

The second time we went he didn't look as much but was friendly then he asked my niece not me directly just her if I'm her sister she said not I'm actually her aunt and he looked so shocked and confused we laughed and he again said to her im very quiet and on silent mode we laughed and I just said yeah and he looked quickly at me.

Third time walking up to the store his outside helping one of his workers but when he sees us he quickly stops and walks in to wait for us to greet and help us out but little distracted and later on I went with my other niece who was younger into the store he was busy but when walking away he smiles.

Later on when walking past the store I can see him coming to stand in the doorway just staring at us but with such serious but curious eyes.

I'm really attracted to him and don't see him often but when I do I keep looking for signs do these mean anything please don't think I'm a shallow or selfish or self praises myself trying to trick myself thinking he is giving signs

he checked the girl out after his friend told him. Why did he check her out and then smirk? What was he thinking when he did that? Does he think she’s hot?

I asked a few of my co workers and the male manager how there Christmas was and I mentioned to the manager that I celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve due to my mom having to work on Christmas Day and he asked “what does your mom do?” I said “she’s a respiratory therapist at the local hospital and she gets to hangout with the babies and he said “awwww” I also mentioned that my birthday was a few days after and he said “happy late birthday”

Seems like girls with makeup get a lot more guys though most guys say they like all natural.. what do u think?

A friend has asked me this. He's straight but I think a bit curious and he's kinda cute. Is it a good idea? How far should I take it?

He’s a bum guy and my friend has no bum whatsoever then he said don’t need it all.

He also said it’s weird when girls are 5 foot and under but he likes it. She’s basically the same height as me.

He could have easily been able to get my friend rather than me but never tried with her ever. I also snooped his messages and when his friend talked about my friend being attractive he doesn’t join in and doesn’t seem to want to.

He told me he could appreciate my friend was attractive like he could many girls but he personally didn’t find her good or want to date her. I was his type because I had a bum and facially.

But then he’s turned around and said he doesn’t think I have a big bum now and it’s just proportionally big on me but it’s not a big bum. It’s a nice shape and a good bum but not big. (Even tho everyone tells me I have a big bum, he always tries to bring me down). He said it’s 100% a fat bum but it’s not big. It is just fat and very big for on me.

I have a boyfriend and he does this, and it makes me very uncomfortable. She has very rotten teeth and her breath smells like a dumpster. And he thinks it’s funny and tries to kiss me right after, I find it rather disgusting and make him go wash his face if he’s trying to kiss me, am I over reacting?
