Since its summer here (for me at least and whoever can relate for this time of the year)and January is among the hottest months and VERY HOT...we should be aware of what precaustions we should take to deal with this weather!


1. Keep yourself hydrated!


Drinking LOTS of water is REALLY helpful since it keeps ourself refreshed and prevents dehydratation...eating watermelon is a MUST since this fruit mostly consist of water and also really tasty..(consuming many fruits is very good too).

2. Avoid consuming whatever contains caffeine


Drinks like tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, cocacola are a big NO because they will cause further dehydration.

3. Don't go out without applying some sunscreen!


Applying sunscreen on our skin will protect our skin from skin cancer and sunburn due to harmful UV rays and also premature ageing due to prolonged sun exposure. Do not stay in the sun for too long!

4. Dress according to the weather!


Being comfy is what matters the most during summer, i.e:wear light weight and light coloured clothing (prefereably cotton clothing), wear hats and don't forget the shades!

5. Eat lightweight!


Most people don't really feel hungry during summer because its too hot!...things like salads and so on are mostly appreciated!

6. Keep the fan/aircon on or stay in a well ventilated place


Make sure to always be in a well ventilated area so that to feel really comfortable!

7. Mosquitoes...mosquitoes everywhere!


Be careful not to neglect those mosquitoe bites...they can be harmful....and mosquitoes-related epidemics (like chikungunia/dengue...) are more frequent during summer.
