I hate that feeling. That feeling when you wake up and you feel useless. That horrible feeling that you feel brewing from deep within you. You feel like you're capable of nothing. You feel like you'll never amount to anything.
But that isn't true. Unless you let it become true.
You see, you're only useless if you think you're useless. You're only incapable if you believe that you're incapable. Your thoughts are your reality, your mindset is your reality.
The logic behind this theory is very simple. Your thoughts control you, whether you like it or not. What you think about has power over you. If you keep bringing yourself down, if you keep letting negative thoughts control your life, your situation won't get better. It simply won't. The reason behind this is very easy to understand once you wrap your head around it. If you focus your mind on all the bad things, if you focus yourself on all your losses, there's no way that you'll ever win in life. Absolutely no way. When you focus your attention on all the bad things, on all the times that things just didn't go right, or all the mistakes you've made, you are deeming yourself unworthy. You are making yourself out to be incapable, incompetent. Only you could make yourself feel that way. The only one that controls your thoughts is you. Your situation can't get better because you can't even think about any solutions because your mind is clogged with negativity.
One time, I spoke to a woman who told me that she had her first year Bachelor's degree in psychology. The woman told me that if you believe that you are happy, you are happy. I thought of this, and I realized, whenever I believed that I was happy, whenever I believed in myself, I was actually happy. When I told myself that things were going wrong and I thought that I was a failure, I was a failure.

No one is in control of what you think. Despite what they tell you. It may be hard when people are constantly trying to define you, trying to tell you what you are and what you aren't, but deep down inside of you, you know what you are. You can't let people distort your perspective on yourself. You can't let people make you believe that your worth less than anyone else. I don't care, whether you're fat or skinny, tall or short, black or white, young or old, gay or straight, or even liberal or conservative, you cannot let people make you feel inferior to anyone else regardless. Whatever someone tells you about yourself is like a rusted mirror, it says absolutely nothing about you.

What does say a lot about you is how you carry yourself. Confidence is something amazing. Something spectacular. The only way that you could ever have confidence in yourself though, is to let yourself let go of all your shortcomings and mistakes, you're human. You have to believe that you're amazing. You have to believe that you can achieve anything that you set your mind to.

The moment that you start to believe that you're amazing, that you start to think that you're great, know that you're great, you'll become unstoppable. You have to genuinely believe it though, or it won't happen. You won't feel better. You have to start having a better mentality. Believe that you're great.

You were given the gift of life. You were put into this world a winner. You were the fastest of millions of sperms. You are capable. You have just as many hours in a day as Beyoncé.

Learn to control your mind before your mind controls you. Remember that a bad situation can't get better unless you believe that it can't get better. Remember that you aren't worthless unless you believe that you are.
You are amazing.
Don't believe me though.
Believe YOU!
