I think the government should step in and help overweight people by concentrating them in special camps with a harsh regime of diet and exercise that way when they lose the weight and leave they will feel positive about their body.
Yeah you can't shock peoples bodies like that, you have to start out slow and build up over time. If you just shove em into the kind of training a really healthy and fit person would do it could give them a heart attack among other issues.
I agree but just shoving people right into it without preparation is not that solution, I know what I'm talking about I do work in the fitness profession.
No that's why my clients do lose weight because I take the time to look at their life style and create a fitness and nutritional program that's right for them. That will work for them and won't kill them or send them to the hospital.
Folks like you are part of the problem not the solution let those of us that are actually qualified, deal with the overweight people. You can just not worry about it.
there should be a stark difference between accepting ones natural body shape and accepting ones unnatural diet habits and so far I've not seen that line drawn in the sand
The "body positivity" you were speaking of already existed. The only people who got shamed were unhealthy fat people (and deservingly so).
Your self-destructive feminist claptrap won't work on me.

My sister got shamed for being too skinny all the time. So don't tell me body positivity already existed for everyone. You don't have to like it. Just keep you mouth shut and let people live how they want.
Also. Some people are overweight due to health conditions and it makes it hard for them to lose weight. Myself included. I've been trying to eat healthier and exercise for over a year now and I've only lost 16 lbs because my health condition makes it very hard or me to lose weight. So you're saying because I'm a little overweight and basically can't help it, even though I'm trying, I don't deserve love? Yeah. Fuck you.
Also, I'm not a feminist. The only "feminist" ideal I like is body positivity.
The feminist "body positivity" movement has made it okay for fat people to shame people for being "too skinny" or "too athletic". People didn't generally get shamed for being "too skinny" before your feminist shit started, so you're doing more harm than good with this nonsense.
& Please. Don't try the "I have health conditions" story on me, that's a pathetic attempt for an excuse.
The statistic on people who have medical conditions that attribute obesity is under 2%. So I'll give those people a pass, the other 98% (such as yourself) have no excuses whatsover. It's sad that fat people use such a minority of 2% to try and justify themselves.
You don't deserve love because you don't love yourself enough to care for your own damn body and because I have to pay tax dollars for your regular hospital visits to save your ass since you are fucking fat. So fuck you too π
You haven't explain how it affect you, but I'm sure you could google that too.
All right Mrs. Two-Percent, you're in the complete minority here, care to explain why we should accept people who are completely fine and let themselves chunk up?
Because it's their fuckin life and their fuckin choice and if they're fuckin happy then let them fuckin live
But I'm sure you're little immature barely adult self can't grasp that. You probably want all the girls to have hourglass figures and amazing tits and think the guys have to have a 6 pack to look nice. Get back to me when you're old enough to actually have a few years of real world expirence. You're what? 19? You've been on your own maybe 2 years?
With a ridiculous reply like that you've proven yourself to be a liar. No person with an obesity-inducing disease that is stopping them from being in shape would wish that on other people.
I have overweight relatives, who developed illnesses due to obesity so I see how bad life is being overweight. You're in denial if you think they say they are happy.
And what does my age have to do with anything? You're pushing 24 and your fatass is enabling people to eat themselves to an early graves, so I am light years ahead of you in maturity. Get back to me once you're mature enough to understand how deadly being fat is.

@Phoenix98 we need a solution that's final to our obesity problem
I agree but just shoving people right into it without preparation is not that solution, I know what I'm talking about I do work in the fitness profession.
@Phoenix98 that's why your clients never lose weight

@Phoenix98 won't slim them down either

@Phoenix98 I don't sugar coat the truth and feed to fat people giving them diabetes and high cholesterol like you do just to make a buck.
Wow you really have no idea what your talking about.
This is just getting pathetic, goodbye o brave anonymous.

You don't know me. You don't know my life or my health conditions. Did it occur to you I was in that 2 percent? Obviously not. So peace out βπ»
Yeah? Well then since you're willing to share, tell which obesity-inducing disease you have and how it affects you? I'll wait π
I have PCOS and an underactive thyroid βπ»

No one has to accept obesity
