I’m built like the girl in the second picture. I’m perfectly healthy, no high BP, no pre-diabetes, nada. I’m active and go to the gym a few times a week. I don’t just sit around and feed my face. But, I don’t lack in the dating department either despite being chubby/thick. I know how to carry myself and dress for my body size. That’s just me tho 🤷🏼♀️
I love you

I've talked about this with my sister. Absolutely times ten. The fat pride movement is detrimental towards those in it and those afflicted by obesity.
Being severely or even mildly overweight is something you should strive to get out of! For your own health! It should be thought of as a condition to try to get out of - not as the norm. Saying otherwise causes their health to deteriorate!
Well said. I'm overweight but near the normal area on BMI. I love working out and if I had time I would happily do those damn 2.5 hours a day. I wouldn't like to be skinny though bc it wouldn't be myself. I'd rather be near average than looking like a VS model.
I would agree with this a lot more if it didn't focus so much on what's attractive because you have a good point about health. Regardless of how fat or thin you are overall, a fat stomach is very unhealthy. It's not even about what's "hot" it's just about health! When we base it on appearance it tends to discredit what we say a lot. Regardless of what is "in" being fat in your midsection will never be healthy and that's what is most important.
I didn't know obesity was glofied... I always see it as a disgusting.
The link between obesity and poor health is certainly there, but not not conclusive.
There is a point where too much is too much. But none of the curvy women in your pictures are to the point of being unhealthy. They are quite sexy, very hot and extremely beautiful.
They would need to be A LOT heavier before they get to unhealthy.
I disagree. The "curvy" pear shape is actually at higher risk for many health problems.
@koko124
I thought it was the apple shape.
I thought that butt/thighs weight (aka pear) was not too dangerous for women, but stomach weight (aka apple) was.
@BassisForever
Apple shape is more associated with heart attacks.
Pear shape is more associated with deadly blood clots, metabolic syndrome, and memory loss. All three of those things are associated with high estrogen, which itself creates a more pear-shaped body.

what are u talking abt? the girls in 1st, 4th and 5th pic. are not sexy! y would u say dat!/ i would select 2nd pic and 3rd pic girls over those any day! der is a BIG difference between being curvy and fat! i love girls who like sports.
seriously, when i say FAT is NOT the new SEXY! it is true, and i am not giving my own opinion, i say it on behalf of at least 1000000000 people!!! and believe me! if any one is planing in giving up a body as sexy in image 2 and 3, to look like image 1 and 5. u are doing awfully WRONG!!
Obesity, coronary heart disease, diabetes, all are related. I'm not slamming obesity but it is way too unhealthy.
It's true though. I'm not the smallest girl around but i'm not fat nor unhealthy. But there's people who think 300 lbs is nice... sure, if said girl is extremely tall and built, otherwise it's unhealthy.
I agree, it's time for girls to start bashing each other's bodies.
So why do you think we should stop glorifying obesity? Bashing obesity is bashing someone's body.
Because obesity is a major problem, getting worse and worse. If no one says anything about it, sooner or later everyone will be obese.
Obesity rates are higher than they've ever been. It's time for someone to change that.
You're naive and believe everything the media tells you. Obesity isn't even measured accurately, because many professional athletes are considered "obese" due to muscle mass. They need to measure fat percentage to get a more accurate measure. There will never be a time where everyone will be obese.
In short: You're a hypocrite and you're naive.
"Please ladies, it's time to stop bashing each other's bodies and just be the best version of ourselves/out bodies as we can be."
After writing this take, you end it with the above quote? WTF!
I will never understand women.
My thoughts exactly
I was explaining how women who aren't anorexic/obese should be the ones who are idolized. Maybe actually read the take
I've been saying this for a while and think its time we as people not just women, (men too) need to stop thinking its ok to be obese and stop bashing those who get off their ass and workout
As a man if you workout and eat right and pack on muscle some dick face whos probably jealous will automaticly say your on roids
Same goes for women if a woman worksout and eats right and is thin she automaticaly anorexic
It's even worse than all that. Now with the "pro fatty" movement, I get insulted for being a massive 109 lbs when I go swimming, by people who used to be my friends. (yes there's more drama before this, of course, but that's the end result)
Enjoy your heart disease and "diabeetus" I guess?
Completely agree

And thanks haha
I thought it was fitting :p lol
Yeah just be healthy the way you were born, no matter if you were born to weigh 100lbs or 180lbs, as long as you have healthy habits you should be fine. People can be born fat, thin, muscular, tall, short, it is largely based off genetics.
I was born to be what people call fat but I eat healthy and exercise. I am physically pretty healthy. (Idk about mentally but that's fine, too).
Like someone else said, let’s stop glorifying obesity but let’s also stop glorifying dangerously underweight bodies. There’s so much rage over bigger bodies becoming more acceptable yet we don’t seem to carry that same energy when we discuss the fact that a lot of high class models are dangerously underweight and eating disorders are not at all uncommon amongst them.
I agree with a more active society, being someone who has always been bigger I feel it has pushed me to run that extra lap or lift an extra set, however you need to be impowering people to strive to be their beet by loving themselves first and because they love themselves they want to be the best them they can be small or large. You won't get anywhere with fat shaming or thin shaming
i agree i think that there's nothing wrong w/ big boobs, or a big but + hips, but if your unhealthy from it. then you need to stop we shouldn't b wanting to gain weight. like i'm trying to loose my fat + get my muscles back up. When it comes to unhealthy then you need to stop gaining weight and start more to loosing weight.
Good take, I agree with most of your points.
But I'd just like to say that men have been, since the beginning, naturally attracted to big breasts, big ass and a curvier figure. Its because of evolution. It is the media's view of attractive that has changed.
I don't judge anyone for being overweight. My whole family is overweight. BUT...
But I don't think the answer is to glorify being overweight. We should all aspire to be better and I totally agree with you that in being considerate we ignore the reality. Let's all try to be fit and active.
