  it is and it annoys me because I don't consider it perfect. I want to see more natural looking men in ads. at least with women some of the ads show more average or even larger bodies, but with men it's always these over sized beefy looking men.

  @fun-weird-guy I didn't think of that either. it's weird how much we whine about the influence media has on womens/young girls self image, yet as I already stated, we DO get a variety of women meant to be considered beautiful. when the men look different than the ones above, they're always made fun of.

  @thewanderingme you are so correct. Unless a guy is tall and muscular without chest hair (for the most part) I'd not considered good looking. What is so wrong with body hair on a guy?

  shaving the chest and body hair is another technique used to show the definition in the abs along with the proper and tons of lighting and posing at certain angles and lots of flexing of the abs to get them to look that way

  they have to for the lighting to get certain angles of their bodies correctly because the lighting fades out features on a body. Actors wear makeup all the time same thing with news personell
