What's your favorite cooking method for the potatoes?

Roasted potatoes, or Grilled potatoes

Fried potatoes - Pommes frites/French fries, Fried potato chips etc

Stewed potatoes, or Boiled salt potatoes

Mashed potatoes, or Potato soup

Breaded baked potatoes, or Potato pie

Being from Idaho and a son and grandson of potato farmers, I have to say I am the self-appointed potato expert. ALL potatoes are fantastic! My personal favorites are Twice baked potatoes-Baking potatoes rubbed in butter (makes the skins beautiful, a little crunchy and taste amazing). Then cut them in half and take out the white inside of the potato. Put all the insides in a bowl and make whipped potatoes with a little cream, butter, garlic, green onions and small bacon bits (homemade). Scoop the whipped potatoes back into the skins and eat. YUMMMM. Then just a baked potato (baked the same way) and them put blue cheese dressing and bacon bits on there (again homemade bacon bits) YUMMMM again. Last, Bake the potato (same way) and put your cheese of choice (velveeta is great for this) and peas on top and eat it. YUMMMMMY! BAM!

Mashed. Boil the potatoes with 2 0r 3 cloves of garlic.
Mash the potatoes and garlic with sour cream.

Not low fat...but who cares.

I like roasted best. Keep it simple...some really good olive oil, salt and pepper, and that crispy skin.

Roasted, I like dicing it into small pieces and cooking it in garlic oil with some bits of bacon, yum!
