I'm 5'6'' and weigh 122lbs.
Is a BMI of 20 considered healthy for someone who is 5'6''?
I'm 5'6'' and weigh 122lbs.
Height is irrelevant once you get your BMI number, its only a factor when you're doing the math that gives you your BMI.
That's healthy for a man, yes.
But don't rely on it man, it doesn't distinguish between bone, muscle or water or fat weight.
You could seem unhealthy if you have a lot of muscle if you rely on BMI.
The distance from your belly button to the ground, should always be more than the circumference around your belly. i. e. if the distance around your belly button to your back and back can reach the ground, then you are fat. This is a universal natural measure.
Go on google and check your BMI. I found out that I am 21. Something which is normal for a girl my height. I am 5'2 and 120 pounds, but some people think I am 5'5.

I think its considered average. but for me healthy is a whole nother level:P
do you even know what BMI is? it's weight divided by height squared, so height is taken into account. most guys feel fittest and most attractive at a BMI of 23.5, i read it in an article years ago
How old are you?
It's healthy, yes, but you probably don't look ripped or anything.
I'm 19, spent a lot of time doing construction/carpentry/ditchdigging growing up thanks to my dad, so my upper body is in good shape, but below the waist is not nearly as developed.
