Coffee and all that will only give you shots of being awake, then you'll feel tired again, so you'll take another cup of coffee, later you'll feel tired again... and so on.
If it's only now, during your holidays, then it could be because some lazy days just make you tired. I have that when I'm having summer holidays.
It could be iron deficiency? If this keeps going on, you could consider visiting your doctor.
My tips would be: have a routine, like going to bed at the same hour (I don't know if it really comes to 15 minutes if you wanna stay up later) and try to get up out of bed at the same hour. Usually routines work. When I started working compared to school... now I have my routine of getting up and going to sleep, I was so tired for a few weeks when I started this but now I'm doing good (unless you count a party weekend, then I need a few days to recover, haha).
Thank you! I do have iron deficiency
You could have a look for some supplements for that :)
You're welcome!
As weird as it sound sleeping a lot more than what you're suppose to, makes you tired. When we sleep chemicals are relased into our brain, too much sleep will definitely make you want to sleep more. Notice, when you stay awake too long you get spurts of energy until you just can't stay awake. So staying awake can make you feel t to a certain point, but sleeping to much makes you sluggish and keep you tired. The amount of sleep is generall not the most important factor, it's the quality of sleep that really matters. So 12 hours of crappy sleep is way worse than 5 to 6 hours of quality sleep.
That happened to me a couple of summers ago. It could be any number of reasons. How's your diet? Depression can also be cause, especially if you sit at home all day and think negative thoughts you just want to sleep. Ways to fix it: my best recommendation is accupuncture but ifthat isn't an option; get in the habit of doing a morning activity everyday which forces you to get up (I took hot yoga), make sure you have plenty of light coming into your room in the morning, and try and get 7-8 hours of sleep. If you're at home two sets of 4 hours is what makes the body operate best.
Sounds good, thanks
1. Go to chronometer. com and track your eating for 1 week, build a meal plan with 90+ nutrtional completeness made of foods you like.
2. This sounds weird and it's hard to start, but exercise more. Specifically, do resistance/strength training in combination with running or other cardio.
Also, when you first get up, try to get maximum sub exposure so your body knows the day has started. This will help you sleep better.

It could be seasonal, resulting from heat or constant changes in weather; it could be resulting from depression; or it could be medical, such as is the case with narcolepsy or sleep apnea. I would try setting specific wakeup times and bedtimes, lowering your carbohydrate intake, keeping yourself hydrated and ensuring that you get at least some form of social stimulation at least three times per week. If the fatigue still persists, see a pulmonologist or neurologist.
Coffee. Lots of coffee.
Or just soda. That works too.
But, you could just spend a few hours outside every day. I think that helps, I have been doing that, and it actually really helps. :3
I dont wanna drink that stuff. But thanks.
Some people say that younger people need less sleep. The doctors will say they need more because of the tiring effects of growth in younger people. In any case, eight hours of quality sleep is best for the average person. And done on a stable schedule. Plan on going to bed and getting up at the same times daily, even weekends. If you are getting that much sleep and still feel tired, you should check with a doctor. It could be nutritional problems, sleep apnea, many things.
just force yourself to exercise and do stuff. If i never do anything i feel horrible
Thanks :)
Sleeping more than your body is used to interrupts your sleep cycle. Try B vitamins.
Wear a hat, attach a stick to it, and tie a cheeseburger at the end of the stick and hang it in front of you. That always makes me run everywhere.
Exercise more and eat right :)
Well, you need goals and inspiration.
Eat more fruit and get plenty of sunshine
