How many years, since you've been on a bicycle? Not the gym kind?

Once I got my driver's license at 16 I never looked back. Cyclists on the road are one of my biggest pet peeves. A lot of them switch back and forth going by automobile rules and pedestrian rules as it suits them. Pick one and stick with it. I'm very cautious driving around them, but where I'm from they just come flying out of nowhere crossing the street, and look at you like YOU fucked up when you almost hit them. Either ride with the flow of traffic like you're supposed to, or keep your ass on the sidewalk. Rant over.

I get that. I think you get jerks on both sides.

There are some roads I think cyclists should just stay off because it is too hard to pass them on a curving, high speed road.

I almost feel like a bike is more dangerous than a motorcycle because people expect it even less and it is quieter.

It depends on the day when I'm just strolling I go 1 or 2 miles ( but on time I zoned and went like 3 1/2 miles) but when I'm working out I like to go 3 or 4

Wow, 4x! Only thing I ever had stolen from me was my wallet and since I was just a kid, I didn't have much money or any ID or credit cards in it thankfully.

It was, I was in a body cast for weeks, then I had to re-learn how to walk

What happened?

I was born with a rare disease that makes my joints dislocate easily, and they don't like to go back in place... but in this situation, I had been bullied by the star football player at my middle school (and his identical twin brother) and one day, they pushed me down a flight of stairs, which dislocated my hips... and the only way they would go back in place was to get them reconstructed... this was a really dark time of my life.

A decade or so. I drive or walk to get where I'm going, usually, and when I feel like breaking a sweat by doing cardio exercises, I jog. So, you see, for myself, bicycles serve little purpose.

Wow. I think it is a lot safer in some countries, but fear keeps a lot off the road, when it comes to bikes, including me. I mean I see plenty of crazy people driving, when I'm in my car.
