There's a song by Oiki called Groove that I've been really into lately. It's "dubstep," which I normally hate, but I like this one. There's a version of the 300 theme song which is kind of more "techno-ish" by Jorge Quintero that I like.
Other than that, the mood, style, and type change quite a bit, and I usually make up my own list. I have 7 different work out playlists, so you won't get a definitive answer, but here are some that I've repeated throughout my playlists.
Here are a few: AC/DC: TNT, Big Balls, Dirty Deeds especially.
Rock Lobster - B52's
Little Bit More - Jamie Lidell
Phenomenon - Thousand Foot Crutch
I Wish - Stevie Wonder
Ladies and Gentlemen and Click Click Boom; both, I believe, by Saliva.
Axel F
Yurf Rendenmein, Prelude 12/21; AFI
Beverly Hills - Weezer
Pon De Replay - Rihanna
Dropkick Murphys
It's Tricky; Run DMC
Miserlou - Dick Dale (source music for Black Eyed Peas "Pump It")
Gorillaz - usually Clint Eastwood, though a few others too.
Hooked on a Feeling - Blue Swede (song they play in Guardians of the Galaxy trailer)
But I'd say that I only do workout music on occasion. I usually watch movies. For some reason, a CD quickly bores me, even if it's really great music... I don't know why that is, but that's the way it is for me. However, I have probably 20 gigs worth of music; I just listen when I'm not working out.
