Curvy has to do with your natural body shape. I've seen both overweight and slim girls that are curvy and both overweight and slim girls that are not. Some women have a waist line that is naturally defined in contrast to their hips. Others have a waist line that's rather straight up and down with a measurement that's close in number to their hip measurement. A thin woman with an undefined waist-line is not going to magically be curvy if she gains weight. She's just going to go from being a straight up and down thin woman to a straight up and down thick one. Thin women can also be curvy. A woman with wide hips that naturally stores body fat in her lower half instead of her waist is going to be curvy even when slim.

Curvy these days is a nice way to call a fat girl big. Apparently there is a fat acceptance movement going on

From what my friends have told me, curvy is when there is one nice, smooth curve on a part of a body. Fat is when there are 5 curves in that same spot instead of one.
Okay easy... Anna Nicole Smith curvy... Kim Kardashian curvy... J LOL curvy... if you got a gut... it's fat...
