Why are some people so obsessed with having raw milk?

Pasteurization was invented for a reason! Drinking milk full of all sorts of bacteria is not a good idea...

If you get contact with enough bacteria you'll get immunity. If you live only in a pasteurized world , the first time you leave it you'll be very sick. The first time I went to Northern Africa I got the revenge of Moctezuma and fever, needed a doctor and antibiotics. Now I have developed immunity and I can go there, eat like the people eat and stay healthy.

I haven't heard about people doing that with milk. I know a lot of people are into raw foods because they believe any man made changes to a food make it less healthy because it isn't what our ancestors bodies were designed to consume.

That's odd. I have never heard of that. You have to at least boil it first if it is not pasteurized.
