Uhhh no. It's the other way around. Girls get told all the time that they aren't attractive and that they need to lose weight to find a boyfriend. Guys get made fun of sure but there's no pressure to look good constantly in magazines and movies and ads like there is for women.
Sure there are skinny muscular guys in magazines but you don't see people calling out fat guys on the beach telling them to lose weight. With fat women in bikinis they get yelled at all the time to cover up but I've never seen a fat guy with his gut hanging out to "put on a shirt"

Hm... I've never gotten that impression. I'd say fat guys are more accepted than fat girls as girls are a bit less judgmental when it comes to looks. Plus some fat guys have fat wallets. =p
However, I think more guys are willing to lower their standards quicker to get laid.
I think its actually 80% the other way around. Do you know how many fat idiot guys come on the Dr. Phil show demanding that their wife/mother of their kids lose weight because she's too "fat". Give me a break this is so not true. And by the way what's your definition of fat? Because a lot of douche guys will consider a girl 5'4 130 fat which is absolute BS
I think your hypothesis is completely wrong. If anything fat MEN are MORE accepted than fat women. Kevin James, Jack Black, Seth Rogen get to play the male lead actor in romcoms and get paired with thin hot women.. ever seen a fat woman as the female lead in romcoms?
dont think thats true. people say guys can look hoer bc thy can make up for it in other ways but women just have their looks to rely on.

I personally feel like being a fat guy is easier than being a fat girl. I've seen more women slammed for being fat than I've ever seen a guy slammed.

Because a lot of women get fat because pregnancy and have difficulty losing weight afterward... And it be a dick move make fun of someone for giving life to another human being.
Well, it IS easier for a guy to be slim, many women gain weight easier and most guys can eat more than a girl of the same height without getting fat. I don't think many guys are into fat women - it's probably the number one deal-breaker. I think the main reason people stay obese is because they don't look at psychological reasons for their overeating, they don't deal with emotional issues, instead they just try quick diets and after a while give up.
I don't think either gender finds overweight people attractive. It's just less aceptable to verbally criticize a womans weight than it is a mans. However this doesn't mean that fat women are any more desirable than fat men.
Because guys are seen as sexists if they tell the girl to stop eating McDonalds and the whole staff.
Hmm, maybe it's because women are picky? I wouldn't know, BUT I do know a guy who likes chubby and muscle chubs... Yeah, he's gay, but that's what I like about his cool personality.
