Why do women say that fat women have it harder than fat men?

I actually think it's the opposite. Especially with this whole body positivity movement shit that's a part of society, women can be overweight or obese and get attention from men that would also date them. With the advancement of technology and social media, a woman that's fat can get dates and sex pretty easily. Fat men however can't do this. You have to work out and get in shape. And even the bigger fat women dont wabt fat men. And lets be real the body posivity movement is for women. Not men. And here's the thing, despite all that i still think men should work out and get in shape for them. Being a fat man will decrease your dating success. But i laugh when women say that fat women have it harder

You do have a point. I've seen some truly disgustingly obese women on Instagram showing off their bodies and having 'body positive model' on their profile, and they do literally have a shit ton of followers, especially men. But if overweight men tried to show themselves off like muscled and fit dudes, I highly doubt they'd get any followers especially women. And in real life I have known some 'ugly' overweight women who are total sluts that actually have guys that want to fuck them. So yes, I think you do have a point.

I think it stems from women feeling like they get attention, but only for sex and not for actual love. Like people are ashamed to be seen with them and could only think of having sex with them but not have a real relationship.

I have no idea who got it "worse", because it's very hard to compare if you're not in the situation on both sides yourself.

I've seen plenty of couples where both are bigger, where the man is bigger and woman more smaller and also the other way around.
