I have been to beaches all over the world and all sorts of people wear bikinis (I have been to Australia twice as well). I think your friend's body is fine for a bikini. She has large breasts, which she should focus on. I used to work in a swimwear store so am happy to provide advice on styles etc.

If she is "over weight" then it's probably not by that much. She could lose a little weight just to get into a healthy weight range but it's not like she's huge.

It's her decision. It's how she feels about herself. If she's comfortable then you should not say that she's to fat. If she's not comfortable then maybe suggest something else to at least not make her feel bad.

I've never seen a girl who is too fat for a bikini. And that photo is kinda misleading since she's bending over slightly, that makes her tummy look bigger. Overall I think she should wear it if she wants to.

She should wear a one piece. That is the harsh truth.
