I hate this question. I hate it for two reasons.

1. You can't see "weight" but you can see "distribution"; two people who weigh the same can look totally different.

2. Anytime you judge someone based on their distribution you naturally ignore other factors like weight, height, and concrete elements which really don't effect the entire general standard behind distribution. Again the same people at the same height and weight can have totally different levels of attractiveness meanwhile two people at extremes (one short, one tall) can both be extremely attractive due to their distributions.

It's like losing all the time when you answer this type of thing because nothing you say is going to really be "true".

honestly, i really dont give a damn unless he looks obese to the extent that it reflects a lazy lifestyle. for me, it's not just about his weight, and people seem to lose sight of that.
a guy who actually has a good body has more often than not placed a great amount of time and energy into it. controlling his diet, being consistent. it should be no surprise that these things also become amazing personality traits. disciplined, hard working, active, determined, positive etc. my first thought isn't 'wow them abs' it's 'i wonder what ur story is and what it took u to get here'.

Apart from obese people (where something should be done to lose weight), it should not matter. Whatever your size, you only need to be confident in yourself, be yourself, dress sensibly, and let your personality shine. Guys have a preference for girls who are happy and confident, and size is a matter of personal preference.

I like a pretty wide range of body types. Small and petite? Moderately thick? Both have their merits. It's mostly extremes in either direction that I find unattractive. So yes, I guess you could say it matters to me, but it's not a big deal in the vast majority of cases.

I think people worry too much about weight in general. A slim, low-body-fat athlete is typically going to weigh a good deal more than someone who is just skinny, yet to many people also look better. There are enough factors that simply saying a one-size-fits-all weight should apply is frequently wrong.

My gf gets called 'so skinny' a lot by other women. She's a runner and extremely fit though so her body is skinny but very lean and toned. To me she' looks incredible and judging by the number of times she gets hit on... guys love her look too!

As long as she isn't obese, I don't mind it. My ex was somewhat overweight and I still dated her, I find just a little bit of a round tummy to be attractive on a girl.

Physically though, I wouldn't date a girl that weighs more than me. There is no possible way a woman that isn't grotesquely obese (or freakishly tall) can weigh more than 210lbs, even with some muscle. So that's the "threshold" for me.

A little bit over ideal weight is OK, as long as you aren't closer to obese than ideal perfect healthy weight.
Remember, the average adult woman in the USA is within 10 lbs of being obese, so that's not good.
