Brother patronizing me about how I should work out?

Usually when I go to the gym I'll tend to do mainly cardio, then the Roman bench, then the pull weight. My brother yelled at me, saying that I don't switch it up enough in order to see results. I don't think there's anything wrong with what I do, but is there somewhere I could improve? I'm mainly wanting to focus on my core but I'm fine with all other parts of my body.
