How to stop purging?

I started two months ago.. I don't want to ruin my teeth, but I'm addicted

See a support group... There's really no magic answer if you really want to stop you'll have to find a way that works fir you personally to do so. If you feel "addicted" then you're probably dealing with OCD tendencies.

Intellectually you know very well 300 calories is not a binge. You need at least 1000 just to sleep all day and it's not recommended to go below 1200. You're not binging you're just throwing up whenever you eat. Purging Makes it sound less physiological and more spiritual but what you're Doing is VERY physical snd it has ohysical ramifications.

You should see a regular dr and get blood work done. If you've been not eating enoug AND throwing up you most likely have imbalanced which can be dangerous if left I gebder to. I'm not trying to startle you And seeing as many people don't seek help they probably walk around with imbalances for a long time but if you can help yourself you night as well. Plus nutritional deficiencies add to OCD symptoms And anxiety and make stopping any ritualized behavior that much harder bc your brain gets stuck in a loop and isn't getting the support it needs to break it.

I don't know what you have access to but a trusted source you can talk to / a support source that knows what you're going through / a professional that can see to you medically / and not beating yourself up. But taking your decisions seriously , will all be if help. And try to stop throwing up even if it means eating very littke for a while. People can go without food much longer than they can go without balanced electrolytes. Not saying eat nothing but you don't want to keep throwing your fluids off balance. It's a stress on your organs. Meanwhile eat a lot of vegetables. They are high - highest of all food- in potassium and you want worry as they are not high in calories. Eat a concentrated source if protien at least once a day and try to get an appointment with a dr.

You really should be shooting or 1200 calories but definitely do not eat nothing.

Good news is you've been doing it for very littke time. It supposedly takes less than two months to change a behavior so if you're set on it you'll be ok:-) and it's actually pretty common or more so than you might think. When I was working in the hospital thre were acetal cases every day of women and men coming in to get hydrated or who's passed out from low blood sugar it her djbf to be admitted to psych for evaluation bc of eating disorder.

1. You will have to get dentures.
2. Your will be half bald because you're hair doesn't get the vitamins it needs. (Of course it will stop growing as well)
3. Your nails will be really ugly because lack of vitamins.
4. You'll ruin your guts completely.
5. One day eventually it will get so bad that you'll be forced to get help, and the recovery will be a long, painful, time wasting and money wasting process. Trust me, you don't want to be there.

Stop this while you can, this question is a step in the right direction. Talk to someone.

YOU can stop yourself, YOU can ask for help, YOU have to save yourself. Once you realize that YOU CAN STOP YOURSELF, it doesn’t seem impossible anymore. You can do this.

I knew a girl who did that. She was sot cute and petite before she started that crap but soon became skeletor and looked like a meth addict. Her teeth turned grayish. Kind of like there was a dirty algae covering them. Really messed up the enamel with the stomach acid.

GO TO A SUPPORT GROUP! Get this under control before it controls you.

d00d just realize you're gonna get fucked up lol. seriously, you're not gonna like your teeth at all, just stop d00d. eat less and controlled portion sizes if you're eating too much. and if you're eating very little then don't even bother purging, your body needs some energy.

My idea of binging is >300 calories and every time I eat anything I feel the need to throw up. Like my body is so used to it now, it nearly does it for me

you need to seek professional help then, not only are you going to fuck your teeth up but your dad is going to have to pay about $15,000-$40,000 to redo the plumbing in the house.
