What were some of the strange things you did? How did you feel? How did your spouse feel? Please share your stories.

Older than what?

I had mine at 30.
Was good and settled, and holy fuck it was boring.
Day in , day out, working my ass off, getting nagged, and being taken for granted.

Started making A LOT of new friends.
Some male, some female - and some quite attractive.
The misses didn't exactly approve of my new friendships, and demanded I cut contact with every single one she didn't approve of - namely all of the attractive females.

Told her off - I pick my friends, you don't.
Then she accused me of banging them (which I wasn't), and being guilty until proven innocent, that was the end of that.

And THEN I banged them, which wasn't exactly the smartest move, as everyone just went 'He totally did before too'.
And life isn't exactly easy when the truth is determined by a majority vote.

So I've pretty much been flying solo ever since, weeding out golddiggers and nut-jobs, only making short stops when either of the two wasn't obvious.
And a little digging below the surface, usually revealed they were after all.
So, the search continues.

I'm like 99% sure my dad had a midlife crisis. When he turned 45 he bought a Porsche, started working out every day again, dyed the little bit off gray hair he had, and started doing random things. Like one weekend he just decided to go to New Orleans with me

Have you ever wondered why you only hear about men having a midlife crisis? It is because it is more acceptable for women to be insecure about their looks as they age. When a man reaches a point his decides he needs to work on his style his insecurities are less accepted and it gets twisted into him suffering some type of crisis just for having the same insecurities that all humans share and trying to do something about it.

suppose my crisis was to start to play around with guys, and discovered a side of me I had controlled but then did'nt... got divorced partly i guess because of that. not a crisis in sense of spending money and buying things but deffo a confusing time

i am very old. going to 24 in 3 months and i feel old. back pain. even young people give me their sits at bus. when i cross the road people help me. this is crazy.

No crisis here. Bought a sports car but even when I was young I had fast cars so thay isn't out of character.
