No hope in humans?

there is a verse in the bible that those who hope in humans dig their own graves in a sense. no, its not something symbolic or poetic its literal. everyone who puts his hopes in humans i becursed by his own stupidity. there is no salvation or happiness from humans.

I'm not familiar with this verse, but I can tell pretty easily what it's on about.
The bible states many times that our first faith should be to God. God is the one who ultimately gets us through the trials of life.
This doesn't mean we can't trust in each other, but if our hope begins and ends with fellow people, it's never going to work out well.

I don't take anything the bible says seriously. There are good people you can place faith in and depend on, there are also rapacious dickheads who can't be trusted. Human beings are too diverse to be generalized by a stupid old book of fairy tales.
