Does subway lie to you about how many calories their food is?

My dad wanted me to feed my grandma at the hospital because he says the nurses don't bother to feed the patients and if you don't force feed her she will die so I asked him to give me $10 dollars to cover the cost of water and food while I'm at the hospital. I had a chicken sandwich from Subway and I remember that their sandwiches are around 1400 calories but when I looked at the website, they claim that their foot long is only 640 calories. I think they are LYING ABOUT THAT!!! that is IMPOSSIBLE!!!

The chicken sandwich assuming you get it the way I do (on wheat, no cheese, honey mustard, banana peppers, olives, spinach leaves, tomatoes) is tasty and less than 700 calories for a footlong.

It sounds highly unprobable indeed. Except if it was a really small one.
If it's like a French "baguette" (about 10-12 inches, 25-30 cm) I'd rather believe the 1400!

Try mean per serving. But unfortunately most people eat the whole footling when in reality your only supposed to eat a fourth or Mac half of the foot long

The amount of calories TOTALLY depends on the toppings u add on the sandwich.

The Subway nutrition facts are rather ideal. No extra cheese, only fat free condiments, on the basic bread.
