My legs are 1 meter long and I'm 168. Is my upper body really short or is it just me seeing it as a problem?

Are you measuring crotch-down or from the hip? Because if you're measuring crotch-down, once you subtract 25 cm (for your head and neck) you are left with only 43cm for your torso, and I'm not quite sure how your organs can fit in such minimal space. Then again, being 16 my knowledge of the human body is limited.

Its not a problem. There are others like you. But find dress combinations that make your upper body longer and your legs shorter. And in some sports, it will be an advantage.

Yeah i generally end up going for dresses. What would you say i could try as sports?

Sports using legs will give you an advantage over same height girls because you can take bigger steps. Making your legs more muscular will certainly make them appear less long, because they get bulkier. Skinny legs always look long. Besides dresses, you can also go for t-shirts that are long enough so they make your upper body appear longer, or pants with a low waist. Sleeveless may also help, because it makes your upper body look thinner (and thus longer) and naked arms tend to give a longer appearance too. If you have muscular shoulders or arms, that may help because it will attract the attention of people.
