Guys, Can you tell when a girl is checking you out at the gym?

Not easy to discern whether they are or not and what they think when they are so i just don't worry about it, infact it's so hard to tell i never worry about it and don't bother chasing anything at all lol! I'd rather be single then feel rejection at all, If you want a guy to know just make it very ovious to him

I can't tell if a girl is checking me out at all, ever. Seriously they're way too subtle I mean if someone think smiling and eye contact is flirting, I do that a thousand times a day at work as part of my job and it's normal... doesn't mean i'm attracted to a single one of them.

Sometimes. Girls at my gym are pretty sneaky. I'll catch a look now and then, or a part of one, but it's like a UFO - I think I saw something, but I'm not quite sure what it was...

yes of course, but it's a different kind of check out than say at a club, so I don't approach her, unless she is really really obvious and i like her.

Keeps looking. Usually doesn't smile so she thinks she won't be noticed. Looks away real quick but keeps looking back.

Guys feel uncomfortable approaching women at the gym because they don't want to be perceived as "that guy."

Just smile, say hello and ask him his name.

But, I don't want to be know as that "girl" that hits on all the cute guys at the gym. Mind you this would only be the second guy I approached at the gym. Last guy I approached was back in March. It never went anywhere but he is a smoker. Deal breaker for me.

if you come off as genuine I don't think anyone will think that of you. At my gym women are so paranoid about douchebags that they purposely make no eye contact (unless I catch them, haha).

A guy will be flattered, especially if he sees you at the gym regularly.

Yes, I am definitely a regular. Been going there since the gym opened up. I saw him today and I want to find out his name. I heard his voice this past week when I asked him if he was done with his machine. And I just loved his voice. But I chickened out in asking his name :(

Why not? If anything he'll be surprised and won't stop thinking about you. And he'll know you're definitely interested. Takes the guesswork out.

Second, I wouldn't say you are unattractive at all. Plus, you might be one of those guys that are just "too good looking" to be single. Like that is the thoughts I get about some guys. There is no way you are single.
