Has anyone ever tried methylphenidate hydrochloride (Novo-Methylphenidate ER-C)?

I'm on methylphenidate right now. Basically there's 2 medications. Ritalin and other methylphenidate based medications and Adderal and other similar medications which are a combination of 4 methemphetamines. Ritalin works by forcing your brain to stop absorbing norepinephrine and epinephrine while adderal makes it slow down the absorption but also causes it to secrete extra. Most people find Ritalin to be stronger but it all depends from person to person, since ADD doesn't have an exact cause or cure. If there's anything else you wanna know just ask.

Yeah that's just the brand name. I'm on concerta too. It's basically Ritalin. You're on 18mg I assume?

Ya its just a trial. I haven't been diagnosed yet. It costs a lot so my doctor said I could try it and see if it helps. If it does I probably have ADD.

Yeah but don't look at that as a bad thing. On 18 mg you won't feel much. Basically if you have an activity to do that requires concentration such as studying or doing house chores take the pill and you'll see the difference, especially when he ups the dosage. 18 mg is just meant to test your body to it and see that it works so just take it once a day and not 8 hours before you go to sleep or it'll keep you up. Also if you don't have insurance ask him to put you on Dexedrine. It's the way cheaper version of adderal.

I take pills for my ADHD, while it does keep more relaxed I don't get a kick out of them, I just feel the same.

I have noticed that if I don't take them for a few days I am a lot more energetic and I can be more aggressive as well.

It treats ADHD/ADD and Narcolepsy. You need to learn to be politically correct. Mental patients is rude too. People with mental illnesses or mental disorders is correct.
