I just got Phentermine that was prescribed too my friend that's mine now. I'm sooo HAPPY 😊 This is my body currently today don't hate on it. I know that it needs improvement.

A non-medical person saying they know what they are doing with prescription mess is proof that you do not have a clue. Add your age, which shows lack of experience, and you really do not know.
Regardless of how healthy, any prescription medicine has many dangers. The doctors consider your health. But they also consider your family history, other meds you are taking, and a myriad. Of other things. That is why using drugs prescribed for others is illegal.

Using someone else's prescription is really, really, really bad. There are a lot of side effects, a lot of drug-drug interactions- all this needs to be discussed with a physician before prescribing.

I know the side effects nothing major and willing too have them. How is take someone else prescription bad , when it's for simply suppressing my appetite & losing weight.
The process of appetite suppression is not simple. There are plenty of side effects. Some of which are quite serious. Not everyone can take that drug- that's why you have to see a physician first to make sure that it's okay. I really would not take that if I were you. You should talk to your doctor first and find out if its safe for you take.
No. You cannot conclude that it is safe for you because you think that you have no health problems. It isn't only about that. How about allergic reactions? How about dosage? The appropriateness of the drug for your goals? Do not pretend that this is okay. You're old enough to process what I'm telling you.
You are right. I'm 17 & trust me , I know what I'm doing. I have no health problems nor any allergies & the dosage for my friend is 37.5 mg so that is the amount that will be taken for me basically just one pill a day.
Is this prescribed for weight loss? I am just worried when people take medication for the purpose of losing weight; it can become unhealthy and addictive.

Phentermine you need a prescription too have it. It's basically for weight loss & makes you not hungry all day .
Phentermine is a stimulant similar to an amphetamine. It acts as an appetite suppressant by affecting the central nervous system. Phentermine is used together with diet & exercise to treat obesity (overweight) & It's considered a controlled substance.
First of all you look beautiful the way you are, honestly. Have you looked into the side effects of it? I understand its an appetite suppressant, but isn't it better/healthier to just eat clean, fruits & veges instead of the pills. at least keep your intake low & only when you really need it. All it'll do is reduce appetite. For some people it'll completely eliminate it. Wouldn't recommend it at all, especially since you're someone who doesn't the fitness lifestyle. Gonna end up skinny fat if you let it work and suppress you're eating. Skinny fat ain't good.
The average person shouldn't get a hold on drugs like this in general without doctor supervision. If you don't completely change your lifestyle once you go off the drugs, if you lost any weight from not eating you're gonna rebound.
Thank's for the opinion. You assume that, I don't workout people really like jumping too conclusions about me. I do workout & just because I'm not exactly thin/skinny doesn't mean anything. Working out isn't the problem food is my issues .
Ya you're one of those cardio bunnies. That's just momentarily calories lost. There are other training methods that will expend either nearly the same amount of energy or more, while increasing performance benefits and add muscle. Not just endurance.
Honestly I don't think you need it, you have improved a lot since I last saw you, and you look good now. But if you are still dissatisfied by your body then give it time I am sure you will look better in a few months. And as for diet you can try intermittent fasting 8/16 and calorie counting with a deficit of 500 calories to your actual need, you can loose 1lbs every week that is if you want. Don't use pills to lose weight: they have side effects and don't work in the long term. If you don't change your lifestyle, diet and improve your self-control your weight is just going to yo-yo until you're 40 with elephant skin and stretch marks everywhere.
well. you will loose a lot of weight when the drug kills you. that's what happens to so many people who take meds they don't need. the effects it has on the heart and other body organs are not worth the risk

Thank You still have things that need improving clearly . The last time you seen a full body picture was pretty long ago & been dieting. Now that , I got my hands on phentermine this will help me so much.
Well I'm studying fitness and nutrition so my advice would be throw it out of your window :P Not trying to be mean by the way and it's still harmful even though it's FDA approved?
I have no idea about that medicine but would say you don't need to loose weight you are fine
