I spend a lot of time at the gym year-round, more-so during the winter when it's raining and such though. I go whenever it works best with my schedule. If I have plans in the evening, I'll go in the morning. If I have class, I'll usually just go straight afterwards.
If I have a day with absolutely no plans whatsoever, I like going in the evening. That's probably the best time; gym is the emptiest, most machines are free, and I can head straight to bed right after showering.

Yes, I do. Winter here isn't so cold, so it's perfectly possible to go to the gym and even get sweat. I go in the end of the afternoon.
I go at around 11am, when I run it's usually outside but if it's too cold to breathe I'll get on the treadmill.

I stopped going to the gym and now just work out at home. In winter it was a real pain in the ass to go there, especially having to get up early to do it, because in the evenings it was crowded.
