*This is a response to a similar post I replied to today but it still works*

Most women are subconsciously attracted to a "healthy" man. Talking about always being tired, recovering from an injury, and skin blemishes all indicate ill health.

If you are currently seeking someone, I would recommend seeing a facialist if you can afford one. If not, you wouldn't be the first or last guy to use makeup to help cover some of it. Always ask a salesperson for help if you decide to take this route.

I myself, had really bad acne for years. I tried various name brand products with little success. Most of the ones I used were just face cleaners. I did find that products with Benzoyl Peroxide seemed to work better. Using a combination of the cleaners, moisturizers, and the Benzoyl Peroxide, I've been acne free for almost 7 months. Most of your chain stores will sell a kit with 3-4 products that are similar to that. Also, a little stress management wouldn't hurt either. Good luck!

I think many girls will see it as a turn off. And depending on where you meet a girl, like say in a club, then it may be even more of a turn off. Just like acne is a turn off to most guys. My advice is think about yourself. When I have a question, I think about how I would react to it, and many times this will steer you in the right direction.

How do you feel about acne on women? Not preferred, but is it a deal breaker?

I can't imagine it's something women look for in a guy...but frankly, if you have other things going for you, great laugh, sense of humor, positive spirit, attitude, kind, etc...it may not be a dealbreaker.

If you have *alot* of acne, you would want to see a doctor or at least be treating it somehow for your own well-being.

A few blemishes here and there are natural at your age, so try to get the breakouts under control, and focus on just being cool and real, and it won't be a problem.

    good luck.

Acne sucks we all know that, you feel ashamed of yourself, you can't look at people's eyes and ugh it's hard, I know. Retin-A (Tretinoin) WILL cure you. In two weeks, three, or even months, but it will trust me. It just depends on your skin. Retin-a is the best thing that has ever happened to my skin. Well my skin is 40% cured in the last two days in the FIRST WEEK! I started retin-A 0.05 the first time round in October last year, it cleared me up completely by December and by feb most my hyperpigmenation was gone!! I was so confident and happy with my clear skin. I have no insurance and bought it online w/out Rx to save money. The website I buy it from is

      https://www.lookuptothebest.net/go/Retin-A ;)

they gave me a 10% discount code (which was 'SKIN' if anyone's interested). As far as I know this code can be used as many times as you want.
You can find many reviews for Retin-A here: https://ow.ly/oZ2w30bCVwW
      Hope this helps!.

No, at most I might say it's slightly distracting but I have mild acne myself and today I saw a total hottie and he had awful acne but he was still incredibly good looking and confident and with a great smile. Be proud of yourself, we're not that judgemental and for those who are, to hell with them

Well... it isn`t exactly a bonus. But it`s easily forgivable, in my opinion.

I struggle with it a bit myself, so I`m more sympathetic than anything else, but even if I didn`t I wouldn`t judge it too harshly.

Matter's how bad it is. Usually it's not a turn off but just sort of a down grade in hotness. I try to look past it since I used to have it too.

There are some girls who are shallow and if a guy has acne they don't even take a second look...ive had bad acne so I know how it is...to me it doesn't matter because I went through it too..but it really depends on the girl.

    Major acne? Definitely.

A few spots? Nah. It's normal for teens.

If you got a lot on your face, never pop them! You'll end up with scars all over your face.

If all a girl has to go on is your appearance, then yes to be honest. But, if she knows you then it is likely to matter a lot less.
