What is your definition of "fat"?

I'm just curious what people think. Is it if someone's flabby to you, or even going as far as obese.

as for me, I'm conflicted. I think people are fine and my definition would be looking at someone enormously obese, yet I'm a bit pudgy and also think of myself as fat.

My definition is this: Adipose tissue, anything beyond that is both relative and subjective.

Someone who is about 40 lbs over there ideal weight but also looks flabby
