A good way to get into it is to build a routine with a friend. That way you'll both have motivators for each other. Working out will be much funner and go by much quicker as it'll be a bit of a social type of thing as well.
Once you've got that done, make a schedule for yourself. One that would with your classes, exams., jobs or any other things that occupy much of your time. Pick 2-3days/week that you'll hit the gym at specific times, like say; every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 7pm. No excuses in straying from this schedule.

It just makes you feel better because it releases hormones that make you feel good (endorphins). So working out will help you feel better about all of the issues in your life. I should do that too but I literally have no time because of finals haha...
Realize that if you need someone to tell you to do something which you need to be doing then you're useless like a 16 year old infant.
You don't need to be told to eat, poop, and pee.. right?
" I mostly do them late at night before i go to sleep" I don't know know what kind of schedule you have but working out before sleep cuts hours from rest-time. Most I'll ever do before sleep are static stretches.

Yes that is exactly what I tell myself 😂Maybe you should find a sport you really like. A fighting sport or dancing of some sort. I'm sure your parents also want to contribute to it so no problems with money and it's fun.
Look at it as your work, habbit. You aren't motivated to sleep, are you OP? Make it part of your daily schedule.
I am about to start this because I can't cry it out.
