I wear glasses. When I was maybe 9 or 10, my mom took me to her optometrist and they prescribed glasses for me but I never wore them and I just broke them. Then when I was 13, I moved to a crazy placement, they had me go to their optometrist and they prescribed some. I still have the same optometrist but I don't like wearing glasses. But they are really helpful cuz one time I didn't wear them for months because I refused. Then within time I started getting lots of headaches and I almost tripped on the stairs in the house. Then they said "You need to wear your glasses! That wouldn't have happened if you wore them!" And my prescription has gone up since

And yes, everything is much clearer now and it's nice. But I only wear them when driving or watching TV, at church, at the movies, etc. I probably will in class next semester.

I'm terribly nearsighted so I'm supposed to wear glasses but I usually don't (unless there's something really good on tv). It sucks to be blind as a bat but it's pretty cool to see the world in hi-def when I do wear them.

I just hate how they pinchy ears and the bridge of my nose and they always fog up... hoping to try contacts soon

Both. Glasses suit me and I look very intellectual so during formal office meets I wear glasses. However during get togethers, dates, occasions I wear contacts as my eyes look bigger and more beautiful...

I'm surprised that the poll says that more than half of the answered wear glasses or contacts. I never was toobgoncerned with it but now that I wear gradua-focal readers almost all the time, I can feel the dissattraction from some ladies.

No, but I did wear glasses, one of the arms fell off, in the lake I was at and never wore glasses again. My eye sight got slowly better over the years, then I did eye exercises and it sped it up.

It depends of my activity. When swimming and cycling I wear glasses, because I'm afraid of loosing them in the water and it's a protection for the wind in my eyes.
