Would you rather have the cough? the flu? or persistent hiccups?

I have been sick since Jan 08 and so far I've had all three of them, the dry cough, the runny nose and the most persistent, annoying hiccups ever that lasted for about three or four days until I took meds for it.. I'm still somewhat sick, but at least it's down to being congested now and not being able to breathe properly.. Stupid week this has been.. all I really did was take them meds and sleep like a baby.. What a waste of time...

Hiccups would be torture. I despise hiccups. I would not want those for more than 5 minutes haha

Cough is also bad because severe cough can damage throat. It also tends to last for days and days, become really annoying to yourself/people around, and is overall an unpleasant experience.

Flu is the most severe out of these, but is also the shortest lasting I'd say. Likewise, treatment can be taken to help everything out a bit. I can weather through a few days of bleh to prevent many days of crap.

I would choose hiccups lol, better than the flu were you have a stuffy nose and high fever with a numb body, urghhh. . and the cough is even worse those discusting cough syrups and big fat dry pills we have to swallow and those awful chest pains...
