+1 yI’ve always been attracted to muscular women, but to each their own (as long as you’re not rude about expressing your likes & dislikes). I know that I’m in the minority, but for me, the more muscles a woman has, the more I’m physically attracted to her (yes, this includes the truly huge women that use steroids to get even bigger). I’ve seen a lot of comments about sex with a muscular woman and “who fucks who”... When you’re comfortable with your sexuality, you just want to be with someone where you are both totally into using what you’ve got to maximize your partner’s pleasure, not stuck on hang ups like this. Once you find someone you’re physically attracted to, then you can get into knowing what’s on the inside and see if you’re really compatible.

+1 yI mean they can hurt me more than a average woman... so a little.
But if its too much muscular woman my reaction will be... amazement.

Amazement is a compliment because most girls are very soft and rather chubby and finding a big muscular toned woman is rare... It also shows she takes care of herself well..
I never said she will hurt me or anybody...

"They can" vs "they will"... this is what I am saying...
And welcome... - +1 y
Make no mistake about it, We can and we must. There is an ole saying, "No Pain... No Gain"! With perseverance and the ability for women to handle tremendous amounts of pain along with new blocking inhibitors on the market, we will continue to put muscle on like guys cross dress, the difference, Ha... when we put on muscle we don't take it off. LOL We Will Not Be Denied!!
- +1 y
Please simplify it... I think its complex.
I just said there is a difference between when I say..."They can hurt" which indicates just a probability and "they will hurt" as a confirmed expectations...
I hope I am clear? - +1 y
Very much thank you for The MHO...

Yes you are more than okay... I will chose a fit girl over a chubby one any day... no competion.

I wish I had begun lifting when I was a teenager, before I got married. Not saying I wouldn't have gotten married. I love my man and he can't resist me even if he feels intimidated. I don't believe in roll reversal but I also can't back down. He is beginning to understand, he better he has few options if any.

I think a muscular woman is very sexy <3
+1 yI feel like women of all body types, including body builder, as long as they aren't so muscular it's unhealthy or dangerous, should be accepted. Although, the reason they aren't completely is because society has very well fixed general gender dynamic. Such as how much muscle a girl or guy "typically" has, what jobs women should "typically" do, how long is men's hair "typically"... I put it in quotes because what I and I'm sure many other consider "typical" has been seen as the best way to do stuff for each gender because we do not very often see other ways because people feel the need to stick to the status quo, so to speak ;) get what I'm sayin?
11 Reply- +1 y
Could you please explain, "as long as they aren't so muscular it's unhealthy or dangerous". Are you addressing that to men or women? We "traditionally" (typically) associate muscle with strength so there for the look is "masculine", right?
But what about we women who can excel and I do not mean with chemical assistance. We may live in modern times and big pharma can roll out the news in uptake inhibitors but that doesn't mean it's SAFE. Muscle is muscle regardless of gender, and both men and women have unequal degrees of hormone balance. Who is to say how much is to much and how much is not enough? We have all these studies but get your ass in a gym and see who is the better lifter the fast gainer or the one who can put

NO WAY! It's so hot when a chick is strong. All chicks should do weights in my opinion. LOVE chicks with abs, chicks who squat, nice toned arms, nice thighs from squatting, nice abs freaking LOVE it. The other day I saw this babe deadlift 2 plates for 7 reps with ease which is pretty good for a girl. She had to have one of the most amazing bodies I have seen.

@udit9191 it takes courage to admit your feelings. Guys have a real difficult time with that. My hubby get's tongue tied from time to time. Piece of advise, go up to her and be straight with her. Don't think we don't know a genuine compliment, but if you have a Ulterior motives then you best zip it. We do have radar, and we do not take kindly to Ulterior Motives. hehe Just be kind and admirer from a safe distance. LOL
- +1 y
@udit9191 If you are being honest to her and not playing a game, "can she be into me". then you should be good to go. But if you have other motives and she reads you wrong for obvious signs if placating her just because you think you are being a nice guy... Then yes you better watch what you say and pick your words wisely. Girls even HS girls are picking out who is genuine or NOT. You have a run in with a woman who reads you wrong you will have your lunch handed to you on a platter and YOU WILL EAT IT! This is all new territory for both guys and gals.
- +1 y
yeah it is hard sometimes though as a guy. i'm 24 turning 25 and never had a girlfriend. i simply do not know how the whole 'game' works, what is appropriate/inappropriate, what context can I say what etc. Sometimes if a girl is interested, I just would not know/be able to tell. Almost all my conversations with women have been on the platonic level, sort of ending there.
- +1 y
@udit9191 I understand your reluctance to dating when you don't know. If you are in your mid twenties and have not figured out the dating game then I'd suggest you stay away from the Big Girl Gyms and just hang out at a men's fitness studio. I'm not making fun of you, but based on your fears and they are obviously many. You need to talk with someone privately about your feelings. There are a lot of guys your age who are virgins, nothing to be ashamsed of
Muscular women are fine, it's honestly a matter of personal preference I just don't like a lady who looks like hulk hogan. I am not trying to stereotype women, or be sexist in any way at all. Women can look like hulk hogan and I won't think any less of them, but I am just not attracted to them in that way. (I really hope I don't sound like a female hating asshole)

+1 yThere's levels to it. Fit is always attractive.
Muscles can be attractive to a point. Ronda Rousey was mentioned here earlier and while she could almost certainly whup my ass I do find her very attractive.
If we take it further to the point of elite-bodybuilders, no. I certainly can appreciate the effort and dedication it takes to achieve what they do, but I do not at all find it attractive.
I hope that explains a bit.01 Reply
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yNo, I find muscular women to be sexy af. But I'm not some small, pussy guy, though. I train and lift heavy, so I'm def not one of these dudes who fantasizes about being dominated by a strong woman. I take control in my relationships, but I do find muscular female bodies to be amazing, just simply amazing.

+1 yThe only way a woman could be more muscular than me would be if she was on steroids, and that wouldn't intimidate me it would just be a complete turn-off because she'd look too masculine.
14 Reply- +1 y
So Adam Thomas, you are saying there is an imaginary line that can be crossed from Masculine to Feminine which is the same imaginary line going the other way? For example if a woman wants to cross that line "grow big muscles" and if a man wants to cross that line, wear woman's clothing? At least when the masculine man get's home at night he can take his "woman's clothing off" so for him it's okay but how does a woman take off her muscles that she, with much ridicule, take off when she get's home? Are we more masculinized and you gues are more feminized, we all suppose to act like our Gay Friends, don't make waves, "Don't Ask Don't Tell" seems your attitude is more antagonistic rather than thoughtful. Why don't you reevaluate your own masculinity or is that too threatening to suggest?
- +1 y
I don't really understand what you're saying? It sounds like you feel insulted that I called it a turn-off, but that's just my preference. I'm not attracted to women who look masculine, just as the majority of women aren't attracted to men who crossdress and look like women. Of course it's none of my business if people want to do that, but I don't find it attractive, and I definitely don't find it intimidating. Why would I need to reevaluate my own masculinity? I don't do girly things.
- +1 y
I only take offense because it was you who brought the masculine/feminine into the discussion. I think masculine/feminine has nothing to do with weaker/stronger, looks (image) I think masculine/feminine has more to do with sexual fulfillment. This is an area the gay people can't seem to grasp. They look at the reproductive process more less like a kid looks at an amusement park. So what was your masculine point?
- +1 y
I brought it into discussion because it's the main reason I wouldn't be attracted to a muscular woman, and as I mentioned by muscular I mean a woman on steroids, athletic women are fine. Masculinity and femininity are traits associated with men and women, they aren't to do with sexual fulfilment. Men have 20x more testosterone, meaning we gain much more muscle and are naturally stronger. For a woman to get muscular and bulky (at least what I'd consider miscular/bulky) she needs to take steroids, most women build a little muscle when they lift but they don't get huge like men do. All steroids are based on testosterone - the male hormone. Therefore being muscular is a masculine trait.

Cross fit will lead the bigger bodybuilding women out of the seedy atmosphere of FBB. Many of us bigger girls are vacating the bodybuilding world because men run it and they run the seedy side of it. The money will never go to those who have shaky life style that keeps female bodybuilding afloat. Soon as we get the sex angle out of the scene the sooner it will be come acceptable to the general public. Cross fit is a great start.
- +1 y
I'm not a fan of bodybuilding because it's all about aesthetics and not performance. I don't like the idea of the competitors being graded on how they look instead of what they are capable of. Especially since bodybuilding in its current state means reaching levels that aren't possible without steroids if you want to be competitive at the pro level.
- +1 y
For the record though my ideal look is women like Brooke or like Camillus Leblanc-Bazinet. I don't really have much of a taste for women who choose to get even bigger than that because it doesn't yield much of anything in terms of functional or athletic gains and is done solely for aesthetics.
- +1 y
@WeaponZero "Solely for aesthetics", Really? So we can take it to far? Wow! really?
- +1 y
Well it's just that fitness and training to me should be about health and performance above all else. Bodybuilding is not about either of those things. In fact when the goal revolves around purely aesthetics (as is the case with bodybuilders) it usually gets taken to extremes that are counterproductive to those goals. In fact the cycles of bulking and then cutting down to competition levels of leanness is very hard on the heart. There's no benefit to it except for the sake of aesthetics. It's not about strength or performance or health but vanity at that point which can come at a cost to those things.
- +1 y
@WeaponZero. OUCH! a guy with a real brain between his ears. I mean that genuinely. I am married to a man whom put up with endless complaining about my never ending never successful diets. after much brow beating I finally followed him into the gym.
What we were not prepared for was me taking to weights like a fish takes to water. I agree bodybuilding in generally is purely vanity at best. Had I not found out how my hubby was so indoctrinated in the sexual aspects of it all, I would have never figured there were benefits to lifting weights.
The problem with female bodybuilding is the freaks, seedy little characters behind the scenes who are sexually obsessed. My hubby was like one of them. So I can see fitness had gotten a bad rap from this seedy element. That's driven by deep seated shame in my opinion.
They can argue all they want about unfair distribution of winnings. Women who excel will never find recognition as long as this seedy eliment exists. Shame driven by a few. - +1 y
He was a schmoe. Got it. Well you make it sound like he's not that way anymore. Is that the case?
Also thanks for the compliment about the brain. For the record it's because I have high functioning autism which means it's my nature to obsessively research whatever I am interested in. Fitness being one of those things. - +1 y
I'm going to take the "schmoe" statement with a grain of salt. He was obsessed I will grant you that. Did he need adjustment? HE GOT THAT or else. Has he recovered? Do they ever? I would say, he has stopped wasting money on cam sites. He has learned that reality is not the same thing as fantasy. He has learned, he can't lie to me. Is he okay? I keep him in line. In our private times are our private times. It's not easy to go from fantasy to reality. This is a battle for his being, he knows that now. Once the secret is exposed, the game changes. It's like a bad diet, is there really a good diet? I thought he was gay at first, then I looked in the mirror and realized he needs the real thing I gave that to him and he loves it. But, for most guys, this is a trade secret a bad habit NOT ADDICTION. Just like Gayness, it's not an addiction and it's not in the DNA, it's a learned behavior very similar to being a Schmoe. I hate that word also, so if we exchange thoughts please refrain, Okay?

I support women's rights to do whatever they want I'm just not a fan of the look
- +1 y
Women's Rights,... ? hmmm... You mean you allow the Courts to determine women's rights or are we really talking about privilege such as in license? Since when does the Government define a right? A right granted by those who govern can be withdrawn, which means they are not rights at all. If a woman has a right then a man has the exact same right to life, liberty and the need for happiness, who doesn't want or not need happiness? I think the women's right movement is nothing but political BULL SHIT. Women and men are equal one has no more right to anything than the other. What happens when in the best interest of the governed is to remove what was once considered a right? What then?

Are you okay? you seem upset. i was saying that you could do whatever, geez.

dyanguest1989, I'm not picking on you, but you said " miss Arnold Schwarzenegger" I think that is way out of line. There are very few of those types, they are out there but they are really on the fringe, they also are followed by the more seedy elements of society. They have the privilage to be who they want, you just won't find them being sponsored by big money. Who doesn't want bigger faster stronger? We've all become a bit more feminized than we realize. sorry to inform you.

+1 yI actually love strong and muscular women. As long as they still have enough feminine frame to them.
03 Reply- +1 y
As long as they meet your expectations, do I understand that? Where is that line you seem to suggest between to much and to far? Maybe feminine and masculine are only determined by the sex organs? I think so, last time I checked i still had my PRIVATE PARTS and they didn't look anything like my hubby's PRIVATE PARTS.
- +1 y
If they still look like a woman simply put. Some women are massive body builders and look way too masculine, muting out their feminine curves.
- +1 y
@Words_and_Wisdom. So... why do those Massive Female Bodybuilders keep doing it? I have talked with a few, and yeah they are massive, a lot bigger than me or my man. So what compels them to literally rip their body to shreds? I've seen girls actually puke after a leg press to failure and just get in there and do another set and scream with pain like they were about to give birth! You want to talk about the pain threshold? do ya?
It was not muscular but she was strong so i was in pain
