Does women stronger than you intimidates you?

My wife has been bodybuilding for few years now and transformed herself from a skinny traditional female body type to the Fit and Strong muscular physique.

We have seen mixed reactions from people when someone looks at us, everyone is surprised looking at us in 2 ways.

1- When they see us , they are like whats that she looks more stronger and muscular than her husband and they can’t believe that this type of couple could exist where wife is physically stronger than husband.

2- They are surprised to see the transformation and admire the hardwork and are very curious to know more about us and the journey.

I do think there's this misconception going around that men are "intimidated" by "strong" women (whether it means she's "strong" physically or "strong" as an independent woman). I can assure you that most men are NOT.

We are only intimidated by women in the sense that men are often the ones that have to approach them first when wanting to start a relationship with them. That's intimidating! If I saw a woman like your wife (if that's really her in those images), I wouldn't even consider approaching her for a date. Not because she looks stronger than me... but because I'm not attracted to a woman with masculine features like that. Maybe if she was a long-time best friend, I MIGHT consider it... but if she's some random stranger. And I'm sorry to say this, but your wife looks a little bit like she's slowly transforming into a male. It looks like she's burned off her feminine fat distribution that gives women their soft and curvy look.

Physically fit. Visible abs. Still maintain most of their soft, feminine features. Attractive!

If I was married, and my wife wanted to become a body builder, I'd probably try to talk her out of it. And if she had a passion for it, I'd at least plea that she not take it too far and ruin her natural beauty when isn't necessary. Men are not attracted to masculine features, just as most women do not find feminine men to be boyfriend/husband material.

Also, I want to point out that you married your wife BEFORE she became a body builder. So obviously, you were not attracted to her because she was buff. It seems like you're just supporting her because she has found a new passion... and that's fine if it makes her happy. But don't pretend like those pictures are "attractive" because they're not. Maybe to some guys, but I'm talking generally.

Iam not claiming anything here about looks or attractiveness. I know my wife is not into beauty Pegeant competition. She is into bodybuilding and thats what she is required to look muscular.

And I know who you are. The Indian dude obsessed with his masculine bodybuilder wife who has a domination/humiliation fetish.

So first of all, VERY few women are stronger than me. Because I am not the average slob who revels in weakness. I'm not a gym rat, but I loathe being weak (which comes from being short). So I do take up kickboxing and go to the gym, although I kinda dislike both.

And secondly, the 1 in 20,000 women who ARE professional bodybuilders or world-class Black Belts, still do not intimidate me, because they're as weak to a bullet as any other non-superhuman. That's why men don't intimidate me, either. Granted, South Korea doesn't allow for guns unlike America, South Korea also only has 51 million people in it and most of them are not bodybuilders or expert fighters either (the "All Asians know martial arts" thing is a myth).

And thirdly, strength is mostly mental and less about physical. Almost nothing scares me. ... Because I do not fear death (or really, have much to live for right now, to be honest). If I get a gun pointed in my face by a stranger, or your wife does, who is more likely to cry and beg for their life? Not me. By that, I would be "stronger" than her. Or most people, in fact.

So TL;DR: No, 'roided-out women, or men, do not intimidate me. No one does.

I don’t know why a woman would wanna look that muscular. I wouldn’t wanna be with a man who I am stronger than. At the same time, that’s me. I may not understand why others do what they do, but if it doesn’t affect me to each their own

What someone else thinks doesn’t matter. It’s their their relationship is it? No. Maybe. In a good way. As long as she’s not abusive then there is no need to be worried.



I assume you love your wife and find her very beautiful. That is what matters. If you love each other and you make one another happy. That is what matters.

I like very feminine looking women. I don't care if she's stronger or not, I just care if she's cute.

I've met really cute women who look weak, but are strong, and thats still attractive. Musclebound isn't though.
