Why do disagreeable women think they are intimidating to men?

Recently I answered a question from another user that goes along the lines of "why are men intimidated by strong and sexy women?" Which is basically another title for independent/disagreeable/boss babe smh. I explained in my reply that being not finding disagreeable women attractive does not correlate to intimidation, and she flipped out.

I'm assuming this is a tactic they use to shame men who don't like them into going for them, but we know that similar poles in a magnet repel and a man and a woman cannot both be disagreeable without having problems.

So ladies, why do you keep using the term "intimidating" when we keep telling you time and time again that it's unattractive rather than intimidating?

Because they have spent their lives being told that they are the prize because they are women, and they can’t imagine that a part of who they are that they’re proud of would be turning men off.

And you are right. But by who? Most likely by other women. I don't know that many men who go around raising women's egos who they are not attracted to, most they do is not call that bs out. Of course if a dude is attracted to a woman like that, then something has to be wrong with him. However, it's mostly women that have hit the wall telling other women to be like then so they can all suffer together.

Yeah… I’ve realized that a good 95% of women’s perspectives on what men like comes from other women telling them things, and men just kind of accepting what they do! lol It’s kinda cute, honestly. There are times when I wish they would just ask us (and actually believe what we tell them).

No it's not cute, it's just plain stupid. It's all cope really. They try to eliminate you before you eliminate them, which is the funny part. I see dudes getting nervous nowadays about asking a girl about her body count because they are afraid she will leave, but if they really knew her body count then THEY would be the ones to leave her. That's because the girl knows she doesn't qualify, so she tries to say that she didn't like the guy that she was interested in instead to protect her ego.

It's the same with these "strong independent" women. They don't ask because their ego is too fragile to handle the truth, so they make lies to make themselves feel better, and then trying to enforce those lies by calling guys who don't like them insecure and/or pre-rejecting any guys that see uninterested in their attitude before the guys reject them first. It's all about ego.

Meh. It’s never bothered me. I guess I just figure that women will do whatever they will do and it doesn’t really matter all that much. There’s no point in getting mad at their insecurities; it’s not like they are going to get better if they feel like you’re attacking them for it.

It's not about "getting mad" but rather accountability. You get what you allow, and we have allowed this madness to happen. If we were more honest and less passive, maybe they wouldn't be as delusional. This affects them of course, but it also affects society as well since the birth rate has plummeted.

But that's taking it from an individual perspective. Of course experiences can differ, I understand that. I'm saying look at the bigger picture. We are all connected somehow, and this does affect everyone directly or indirectly. Less marriage and a low birth rate can lead to disastrous consequences for an entire population. An aging population with not enough offspring will have a shortage of health care workers to take care of them when they are older.

The simple answer is "ego and narcissism" .

A smart man learns from his experiences, a wise man learns from other people's mistakes. I have seen so-called "strong women" act in the most immature, hypersensitive and childish ways imaginable, and rather than go and date one for myself to confirm what I already know, I decided to ask the question.

Now, since you decided to write a reply to the question and let everyone know where you stand, consider this an invitation to a discussion. There's 2 ways this can go. Either a) we have a civilized discussion and maybe I decide that you are right/you become convinced by my ideas or b) continue to throw shade at me and refuse to defend your stance, confirming my point in the process.

I'm gonna ask you to explain how "strong and independent" is attractive to men and not completely repulsive.
