Yeah I agree I wish it would stop, but beauty and attractiveness is put on such a pedestal. I personally don't wear makeup... didn't even on my wedding day although my sister tackles me and while kneeling on my arms put mascara on for her wedding day (everyone else had there face done and I opted out) or and I have worn it for Halloween but I don't know anyone else like that all my friends wear it every day. They feel it makes them look more professional and they feel like they are taken more seriously. Until beauty isn't the end all be all for woman I can't see it going away.

Given that I really never wear make up except minimal make up for school dances or something , most times not even than. It is crazy how people ask me if I'm wearing make up or not all the time. I think it's almost rude to say I can't look decent with no make up on. But no I don't think they will stop accepting it. Not unless all women decided they are just going to stop wearing it , which I highly doubt , no it won't ever change.
Women used to wear wigs, corsets, and powder and blush almost all the time a few hundred years ago.
I don't think that's the case anymore.
I could see the amount of makeup being used going down in a few decades or a century.

No because women run this shit. We make our own decisions so if we want to wear makeup we will. Society will continue to accept it because we make up half of society
