Trending & News I have not but i have done research on the area and i know a person who is on a low carb diet.
Low carb diets have been proven to be mor effective than low fat diets. This is because the body uses carbs first as an energy source since it converts into glucose faster. Carbohydrate Sugar is the fastest energy source but is unhealthy. You want to lower your carb intake because your body will use carbs for all your energy needs when you should want to lose weight by burning fat instead. Fat stores on your body are used for energy when when you body hasn't got enough from food sources.
So the idea is to lower carbs so you can get the required energy from your fat stores and lose weight. Combine this with exercise and you will require more energy hence more fat burn.
You can have a low carb diet since the body doesn't require much carbs to run healthily. You actually only need about 10% of carbs of a modern western diet. No wonder why obesity is on the rise since people eat way too much carbs and sugar. The main function of carbs is actually energy for the brain and not the body. So cut back on carbs and starchy foods like bread and potatoes. So no pizza or chips or burgers or anything with high carbs in it. You get enough carbs from your veggies so just eat lots of veg and fruit and intake moderate protein. Also cut back unhealthy fats like that in red meat or things in high cholesterol like butters and some other dairy products.
thank you so much. this is answer is amazing. i was thinking of doing so.
When I was younger I never used to eat that many carbs for some reason, and I never noticed until someone pointed it out. The result was that I was skinny but ripped.
i have and it is bloody AMAZING.

no i have not because it increases risk of heart disease
^^^ This is not true
yes it is, high meat consumption with no carbs does increase heart disease
This is based on the assumption of a low carb, high fat diet. Its the high fat that is causing the heart disease and not the fact it is low carbs.
no its not, a low carb diet in general will and all low carb diets have high fat intake along with high cholesterol, look it up you are wrong
