How to avoid Zits/Acne on back?
What can be done to avoid them?
I used to have acne on my shoulders around that age but its completely clear now. It could have been hormonal but Im not sure.
Id recommend cleaning you back with a loofah while using either a gentle anti bacterial bar soap like (https://www. acne. org/cetaphil-antibacterial-gentle-cleansing-bar-reviews-8/) or one of those acne cleaners like neutrogena from the store. Also make sure you open your pores with warm water and after youve rinsed off the soap/cleaner you rince the skin with cool water to close your pores back up. I sometimes take an ice cube and rub it on my face after a shower and noticed that it helps my skin look better. So maybe you could try that with your back.
Another suggestion is to make sure you're drinking enough water and change your shirts before bed and first thing in the morning.
If none of that works then see a dermatologist.
ever since i started drinking at least 3 liters of water a day. i got rid of my acne and my skin looks better
Acne medicine. Dermatologist can prescribe. I had the same problem, couldn't figure out if it was the chlorine from being on a swim team or what, but since I started using the medicine they gave me, it's got better. It's certainly not perfect and it's a real pain in the ass to have to apply it (it's like a clear cream) you spread on your back, so sometimes I forget to do it. But they have other options like pills you can take, although the pills did not agree with me (I was dizzy and passing out). Otherwise just try to keep your back clean.
i think a good idea for u is to invest in body scrub. coffee is the best. rub in on ur skin while ur in the shower, leave it on for 5 mins. u should see results in about a week. u have no idea how wonderful that stuff is.
pharmacies/drug stores usually have them.

I have the same problem, it sucks. I work out all the time (track & weight lifting) but I wipe down my back/shoulders/chest after every time I work out and use acne stuff for my back and tan AND IT WILL NOT GO AWAY. So if you find anything that works please let me know.
Take shower right after workout.
Try to use cooler water rather than hot or warm.
Keep the sweats off by using a towel when working out.
Neutrogena has a body scrub with salicylate acid in that can help with body acne.
I had that problem too and all I did was scrub my back (gently!) and they were gone in a few weeks.
