I need help with my addiction, can you help?

Hi,
I'm a cutter, I don't do it because I'm depressed, I don't do it for attention, I do it because I can't stop. I need the feel that pain, I need to watch myself bleed. I can't help it, it just happens. I need to stop before anyone I love finds out. HELP!!!

Professional help is what you need. Try your school counselor. But don't stop there. There are many things you can do yourself to help.

Find hobbies or activities that you find a genuine interest in. Smething that will give you a sense of satisfaction. The pain is what satisfies you so try rememberING the feeling you get when you cut yourself and transfer that to something that won't hurt you. I know it will be a struggle but hang in there.

You need help. Your parents should see about getting you into counseling.

When I'm down I read the bible I find comfort in reading Gods word, knowing and reading that God loves me it gets me through any situation.
