I've never had a cavity in my life until today. they filled it and everything one on top and one on bottom. is it normal that everytime these two touch it hurts very bad and is very sensitive?

teeth can be extremely sensitive especially to hot and cold for a full 24 hours after an appointment. it could take a while for it to subside but it's completely normal

It can be sensitive for a few days. If it's still sensitive Monday, call the dentist.

Yes, it's normal for it to hurt after a cavity filling. Your teeth were just operated on so it's normal to feel pain and sensitivity for up to a week.

It's not normal for me, but I could see where it would be an issue. Give it a couple of days. If it doesn't get better, call their office.
