Did the dentist ever have to put you to sleep for your treatment?

I did something for the wisdom teeth when I was around 17. They extracted all four in one go and gave me an injection and IV where I remembered them putting it in and then after, it was over.

But I was a complete lunatic after in ways where the dentist apparently laughed and said, "No history of drugs with this one!" I was hugging the nurse and telling her that her breasts were so beautiful even though she was middle-aged wrinkly lady and that I can fly. Then she's like, "Thank you but you can't fly." Then I'm like, "I can fly! Look! And I was jumping high up on everything and jump down and I was like choo-choo flapping my wings."

Eventually they crammed in my mother's car but the whole time I was like, "Choo-choo! You have beautiful breasts!"

Then I woke up on couch at night time and was like, "OWWWWWWW!" WTF. Serious pain in my mouth. So I rushed to get the heavy-duty Ibuprofen the dentist prescribed me and I felt better after about 15 mins. But I blanked most of the whole operation; my family mostly described how crazy I was after the operation. I had vague recollections of it though, like remembering I was a bird and could fly and women's breasts.

In my late 20s, they put me out to remove my wisdom teeth.

Aside from that, I had a cool dentist back then who, when you went in for fillings or crowns, would give nitrous oxide and he had lots of cassette tapes to choose from and would put headphones on you. It was wonderful.

In recent years, I had to get a couple of teeth pulled and they allowed me to have nitrous oxide each time.

Depending on how deeply you breath the nitrous, you can make yourself go off into oblivion, or control your breathing to keep yourself right on the edge of consciousness.
