Hair Gels and Acne?

I found out that using hair gel (ones with oil) cause me breakout so bad.

My friend told me to use oil-free hair gels but i can't really seem to find one.

Any help is appreciated?

You get acne because the oils your skin naturally makes clog up your pores. Hair gel is basically adding fuel to the fire.

Can't you just buy everything off the internet these days. I don't know try Amazon or something.

Yes hair gels can cause really bad acne and use hairspray instead

Yes they really do. I really breakout a lot due to it, and I am %10000 sure of it.

do hair sprays have some kind of triggering factor in them? or oil?

Are you sure they dont cause acne?

If you use a good amount just enough to hold it good and don't over do the hairspray you should be good to go

What do you think about hair mousse's? They are a. k. a. hair foam..
Also, some of these hair sprays/mousses have PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Alcohol or PEG-40 HYDROGENATED CASTOR OIL. Do you think these contribute to acne?

I don't think so but different hair types have different reactions, I'd say give it a go and I if it starts to cause you to break out quite using it. Do not use too much moose only enough to get a good hold. If you use large amounts in your hair that can be a cause of breaking out. I hoped I helped. Let me know how things worked out.

by the way, my friend is using lemon for his hair and he doesn't breakout but I don't know the idea.

Pomade is usually made of wax not oil

Why don't you just drop into a salon or something and ask them what they suggest

It's made out of wax not oil. A little is all you need to put on.

It might but just buy a small jar and see if it has any affect on you. If it does then stop use.
