+1 yI do the regular one day of cardio and a day of weights. Sometimes I do a mixture of both. If I'm sore in the morning, then I hit the weights hard that day. I love the felling of soreness and it spreading into more motivation. I think the motivation part is the hardest. I have fallen off the Exercise Wagon a couple of times, because loss of motivation was the culprit. Start with simplicity, and build up. A key thing is Nutrition. It matters so much, it is so important to watch what you eat. And don't be like me thinking that "I deserve this", when you should eat more of veggies. Also knowing how your body works is a key aspect. When you have the most energy, the most time to make meals, and when to workout the hardest. I hope this helps you tremendously.

I can't get to the gym every day because I am a full time student but I do love taking advantage of my student gym privileges! I went to the gym with a guy friend (my boyfriend's best friend) on Tuesday night and I am still a bit tender around my abs and ribs because we were focusing on core. I'm also in stage combat class right now because I'm a theatre major, so that's always a good workout. Lately I have been doing a lot of lunges and planks I find that planks target the entire stomach area really well and I get a lot of definition from them, they are rough on the shoulders though! I can only make it to the gym 1-3 times a week so I do a lot of workouts at home too.

I'm trying! I worked out Monday and Tuesday, had to skip today because legs were sore and needed a break. I'll go out again tomorrow, weather permitting (supposed to thunderstorm).
I'm thinking of using my dumbbells for some arm workouts tonight after I look some up online / youtube. Gotta do at least SOMETHING, right?
Especially since I ate like garbage today.00 Reply

I work out daily. I am getting stronger and I look muscular and not skinny anymore. I like most of the exercises except for leg day lol but I still do it anyways. And yes I feel like my life has improved and so has my physical appearance. Lifting weights is my life

+1 yTaking your health seriously does not equal working out daily. You need rest days for your body to recuperate or you risk doing yourself damage.
I go to the gym twice a week and try to get out walk/hiking/biking on the weekend. It's worked well for me, and my job is to sit at a desk all day.00 Reply
+1 yYes, I have to work out every day. I work out early in the morning (cardio and yoga), do other things, then do some Pilates in the evening. I'll probably add cycling to my morning routine soon.
10 Reply666 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. I wouldn't say I work out daily, some weeks I do, and some I don't. Always at least 4 times a week though.
20 Reply371 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. In the past three months, I've only not worked out a total of 8 days, and I wish I could have done those 8 days, but when the body can't, it can't.
10 Reply323 opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. I do crossfit three times a week. I'm in an actual class where we have a not so nice instructor yelling at us the whole time to keep us going.

That's awesome. I can't stand people telling me what to do. I get fiesty. Like "do 20 pushups? Pffft make me!"
I'm on the treadmill for at least 1-2 hours every day, just running. And surprise surprise ~ my doctor said it's not healthy but I'm kinda addicted so what can I do? I'll probably just keep running until I drop dead one day lol

@BertMacklinFBI haha I can't, I just do that in addition but I need to keep running.
I literally never work out and hate myself for it.
