Anonymous(36-45)+1 yThe primary reason you should avoid mentally ill girls: they will drive you insane. At one end of the scale, anxious and depressed girls will make you miserable by submerging you in their manufactured emotional torment. On the other, you can actually end up in jail due to the manipulations of girls with borderline personality disorder or similar problems. Trying to fix borderlines is a fruitless enterprise; they deserve only pity and scorn.
For example, when I was in college, I dated a borderline who constantly started fights with me because she felt I was “neglecting” her. Her modus operandi was to make mountains out of molehills, haranguing me for not putting the dishes away in the “right” order or wanting to spend time with my friends.
I didn’t know this at the time, but she was trying to provoke me into hitting or slapping her, because getting me angry was the easiest way to get the attention she wanted.
The only thing that girls with mental disorders are good for is a quick lay, particularly if you know how to yank their levers. But you’re wasting your time if you try and wife them up. The ideal girlfriend is emotionally stable, naturally happy, and lives to please you. A nervous, Zoloft-popping wreck will do nothing but ruin your life.010 Reply
Asker+1 yI respect that you are voicing your opinion but this rather biased considering the fact that you are a male only mentioning mentally ill girls. What about the females that have to deal with mentally ill male partners? Shall we totally discredit them? NO! we shouldn't. The point is everyone has their issues mentally ill or not but that does not make them incapable of love unless like you said they are a dangerous person. Finally, you have not dated every mentally ill girl on this Planet so you can only speak for the ones you have dated.
Opinion Owner+1 yWe live in a world where Caitlyn Jenner can supposedly transition from man to woman because it’s “natural,” but young girls are taught that the way women usually behave is actually a gendered construct. Despite the presence of two X chromosomes compared to a male’s XY combination, somehow women have to behave like men. Constant SlutWalks, exhortations by phenomenally privileged pop stars like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga, and all manner of other feminist devices are used to command women to rise up from their “oppressed” state.
And guess what? Womankind is more depressed than ever before. Beneath the facade of liberation and self-love advertised by media outlets and mainstream commentators lies an unrecognized truth: women are acting in ways they do not like. They are told to worship their bodies but almost all of them want the body of another girl.
The chasm between their furious affirmations of happiness and their subconscious impulses to be something else is only widening.
Opinion Owner+1 yCombined with the serious factor paranoia, this is bound to lead to hatred of oneself, masked by an over-assertive and bitchy personality.
Asker+1 yOkay, that was a cute response :) but now you're going off on an irrelevant tangent about how females are depressed because of the media. We were discussing in regards to dating someone with a mental illness. So what are you saying? Because you are saying a lot but not saying nothing at all
Opinion Owner+1 y25 percent of American women are taking psychiatric drugs, with the majority of those being anti-depressants. As anti-depressant drug use has increased 350 percent over the past 10 years, it raises the question: Is anti-depressant drug use causing the massive increase of fat women in America?
As a personal anecdote, every single American woman that I’ve known that has used anti-depressant drugs has been at least moderately obsese (10 pounds or more over the healthy body weight limit), and many of them have been outright chunky landwhales, the mere sight of which would make you want to vomit.
Extremely Fat Women
Why do so many American women feel the need to turn to drug use in order to cope with reality? Is life really that hard for women in America? In rural India, some women have to walk many kilometers each day carrying large pots of water on their heads. Or in Pakistan, car bombings and other acts of violence are an almost daily occurance. And yet women in India and Pakistan are
Opinion Owner+1 yAccording to Norman Sussman M. D., a psychiatrist and associate dean for postgraduate medical programs at the NYU School of Medicine, the side effects of weight gain appear with long term use of anti-depressants, generally appearing after 6 months of first starting the usage of the drugs, although some anti-depressant drugs can cause weight gain both in the short term and long term.
Antidepressants have been associated with weight gain since they were first used about 50 years ago, according to Psychology Today. One woman even reported that she went from petite to obese, gaining 100 pounds in weight after having started the usage of anti-depressant drugs.
About 70% of people in the United States are overweight and, in a cruel catch-22, many of the drugs used to treat obesity-linked conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and depression can themselves cause weight gain, according to
Opinion Owner+1 yOne woman who had been taking Zoloft for two years described her own situation on Reddit:
[All of the SSRIs I’ve taken] have caused weight gain, and lately it feels totally unmanageable. I work out 5 days a week, cardio and lifting free weights, and still the pounds keep coming. I watch what I eat. I don’t drink or do recreational drugs anymore, I even gave up smoking. I’m in therapy. Basically, I am doing all the shit necessarily for an emotionally healthy and stable life and it really frustrates me that I am still piling on the pounds. I was a fat kid and body issues are a big deal for me. Weight gain tends to spark feelings of panic and self-loathing and hopelessness, all of which can help me slip right into depression again.
One study even discovered that mothers that took antidepressants during pregnancy were four times more likely to have a baby that developed an autistic spectrum disorder.
Opinion Owner+1 yAmerican women are not only damaging their own bodies with anti-depressant drug use, but also the bodies of their unborn children. Congratulations, ladies.
There is also the troubling possibility that, in some cases, the causal arrow points in the opposite direction—obesity may exacerbate an existing tendency toward depression, creating a vicious cycle that is depriving the American man of dateable women. Americans eating a standard diet are constantly being force-fed poison that makes it much more difficult to maintain a slim physique, and research is finding that what goes on in the brain is inextricably linked to what we put into our stomachs.
In either case, a clear aspect of the problem is that American women have had such easy lives, never having experienced any real hardship or difficulty. As it stands right now, most American women are nothing but a bunch of spoiled little brat children who never grew up and learned how to function as adults, as women, instead of
Opinion Owner+1 yinstead of acting like an immature 12 year old girl. And most of them certainly never learned to cook nutritious meals for themselves, instead relying upon eating processed slop that may actually lead to mental illness.
But as more and more men reject feminism and boycott marriage, American women will have no choice but to adjust their behaviors, change their bad attitudes, and lose some weight. Otherwise they will end up growing old alone with their 10 cats.

You know how a lot of pople think depressed people are super sad all the time. Well, that's not quite the case. With a deep depression you actually feel more empty. You have more or less given up, stopped trying. And thhe weirdest part... you don't feel much. Not anger rsadness, nor happiness and joy. everything is just a massive blur of nothing, a massive blur of Gray.
There's no emotions, no will, no hope, no energy... it's just a state of complete indiference. Not the good kind where you don't care about badd stuff, but that bad kind where you don't care about anything. Including things you LOVED doing before. Everything just looses its meaning.
THAT is depression. An all consuming feeling of gray20 Reply

+1 yThere's no way to explain depression in one word. It's way too many mixed emotions that is generalized as depression.
