Is this a migraine?

I've been having 10/10 throbbing pain in my forehead, I think it might be a migraine but I'm not sure. The pain has been coming and going all day in waves, and also pain and stiffness in my neck. The pain is a lot worse when I stand up.

Are my symptoms consistent with a migraine?

Is it a pounding on one side of the head accompanied by light & sound sensitivity nausea. Best bet is to consult a doc.

I have an appointment, it's not for a few weeks but she's an excellent doctor. I was looking for something to ease the pain till then.

I'm not a doc so I couldn't really say. All I know is what I got for migraines pretty much knocks you out. Best I can tell you is find a very dark blacked out room that is dead quiet lie down & don't move have a long sleep.

It's the only way I can cope with migraine. Take some meds and hide from the outside world.

Sounds like it. However, you should go to the doctor to 1) make sure and 2) get treated if it is.
