What do you do when you have a ocular migraine?

I am starting to have migraines that happen in my eyes again what do you do about them?

Ocular Migraine are relentless headaches that often require more than aspirin and are associated with seizures, visions, or auras. It really depends upon the severity of your condition. Sometimes, I can close the blinds, take some headache medicine, and sleep it off.

People that I know have visions and scatted bright lights visible even when their eyes are closed and trying to sleep. One definitely needs to get an MRI of brain, probably an EEG, and sit down with a Neurologist at a major teaching facility facility.

I get Cluster headaches, also know as suicidal headaches, that's how bad they get
The are on the right half of my face, mouth and skull.
They begin with severe pain in my front tooth and travel the nerve to all of my gums on the right side. Then the pain get's worse as it travels to the inside of my nose up to my eye. The pain in my eye feels like my eye is going to explode the pain is so severe. Then it travels from my eye to my temple, then inside the whole half of my head. All of this takes place in about two minutes.
I take one 800 mg of prescription ibuprofen. In exactly 55 minutes it's gone.
I also put HOT washcloths on the right side of my face and keep them coming.
Not exactly same as yours, but I have to wonder if what I do for my cluster headaches would work for your eye migraines?

CBD oil or high pain relief strains of pot made into edible mints. My two go to’s. It has prevented countless if caught early!!

Learn the recognize the visual cues that signal one's coming on- not everyone gets those, though. When they DO hit, stop whatever you're doing and go to sleep (assuming you safely can, of course). It's WAY easier to just sleep through one than try to endure it awake.

I use a hot water bottle and turn off everything and put hot water bottle over forehead and eyes. sometimes laying down. makes it worse so i prop my head up on a few pillows and if a hotwater bottle dont work i sit in my car with heat on full blast blowing on my forehead

I used to get them bad when I was a kid, best thing for me was to get into a dark room and go to sleep.

Get more Vitamin D and more water.
