I noticed that whenever I take them I want to cry and get lightheaded!!! Does it happen to you aswell?

I let the options open for guys just in case their partner take these too.

I took a combined OCP called Yaz (Drospirenone and Ethinyl Estradiol) for hormonal acne... initially I noticed no side effects but as I continued the packet, I did become very strangely depressed. I feel like it amplified the stress I was already feeling. The intense feeling dropped when the meds finished. I decided now to use saw palmetto and pumpkin seed oil for hormonal acne instead.

Progesterone alone can cause PMS like symptoms. Possibly light headedness too. Are you well hydrated? I would call the doctor about it before you decide to stop it if that's what you're wondering. How bad is the light headedness? How long have you been taking it?

Mmmm I wouldn't say it's a pill... I have a birth control implant in my arm that's just Progesterone! I do get headaches, light headed and dizzy sometimes!

I used to take that but I couldn't keep remembering to take it. So I've been on the Deppo injection for 6 years and I love it.
