Breast reduction?
I have a really small frame... I only way 105 lbs...
Well my friend had lower back pain also when she was younger and she considered reduction surgery. However she started working out at the gym and did back exercises or therapy and she said it stopped her back pain and also make her stronger.
And I know two girls who were going to get reductions when they were younger but didn't and we're glad they didn't.
But of course everyone is different. If it is a major problem then I suppose you could however take into consideration that it's permanent.
Try to look at alternatives to surgery, especially since you're quite young.
Yeah in normal cases ID say no but with your weight and the simple fact that you are in pain ID say it's okay because of the medical issues at hand. Which is a rare yes for surgical body modifications but as I said this is in fact a medical issue so that is the only reason it gets my yes. Now have you tried anything before hand or asked a doctor if there is anything you can do to improve the back issues?
Yes... he suggested the reduction... this kind of thing runs in my family and my family doesn't believe it's a good idea... my other option is physical therapy...
I would say and this is just a suggestion because surgery really is a last stick effort to correct a problem try the physical therapy and if it really isn't helping or you feel that it's not helping enough then proceed with the surgery. Now if you really don't think that therapy is worth the time go with the surgery but don't rush a decision like that. I can understand being in pain and just wanting it gone and having issues for so long you may want to just get it over with but just think about your options first before making any quick decision. The choice is yours though and make sure to make a choice that you're happy with and can live with. Ask questions to your surgeon like what the weight reduction would or should be going in to a new size for your body type, study up a bit do the research. The key with this if you do choose surgery is really to think of a breast size you'd be comfortable with and medically will help something that is less, but you still feel like you.
Either way the choice is yours I wish you luck with whatever you decide good luck dear.
I don't think it'd be a bad idea to start looking for and seeing surgeons about a reduction. If you're already having problems when you're so young what's it going to like in 5 or 10 years?

If it's causing you a lot of pain and your parents are ok with it then I think it's perfectly fine for you to have a breast reduction
Yeah id say do it. Especially if it hurts your back. Maybe you have one of those rare condition where the breast tissue continues to grow.
I don't know if they would actually let you go through with it at 17. I think the first thing they would do is look for alternative solutions.
What do you think is best for you? Because you're the one that feels the pain
Wow.. You need a breast reduction.
DONT DO IT!!!
