My definition of skinny would mean not round. Roundness comes from muscle and fat filling in the tissue between skin. A skinny i. e. rain has very little tissue. They can be fined but won't have much fat they can have curvy bone structure but not a lot of flesh in the bones. Skinny would mean visible bones.

@Unapologetic-1 i believe media has EVERYTHING to do with this. you know before I joined GaG i didn't even know height was an actual thing that guys and girls cared about until i saw so many posts of guys bitching about how they can't get a girl because their height doesn't start with 6, like I've had no problems at all and im not 6+. they just have no game, but the media has sincerely screwed up their confident and self-esteem, brainwashed them slowly into believing that their height determines their success, which is so far from the truth. that's just one example, you and I both know there are many more examples to be had that media has construed into our society. I agree that a hot body is subjective, but society has a set standard of what a hot body looks like, we both know it, for a guy it's 10% body fat, 6'4, chiseled abs and jawline, for a girl it's big bust, thin waist, big ass and with a face that looks like Adriana Lima. its not ridiculous that people want to

Super weird how business can work side by side with fashion, and trends. By the way I never cared about the height of a man. And never cared about what other people think of me. Cause if a person got into that loop, man! It can be so consuming and never ever satisfied, that's why cosmetic surgeries makes tons of money nowadays. I remember when I was a teen, being skinny was the trend, I tried too hard! I had a naural hourglass body shape and I hated it! I became this bulimic girl for a whole two years! My body started to collapse and I gained weight, instead of loosing, and my stomach couldn't digest food no more. I did a class for fiminst studies so I can gain that self acceptance, and to embrace myself.

I do remember when being skinny was the "in" for girls though, omg they just would never eat! because they were so young when they got brainwashed by this trend and weren't educated enough in the field of nutrition and growing up healthy, it was so bad. That was my middle school life, this girl i knew felt so bad because she was eating 1 slice of pizza for lunch, like she felt bad for eating, that is such a shitty feeling. Absolutely true! I like this saying ( healthy or strong is the new skinny) funny how media twist things out. I used to work with media and agencies. We used to come up we these " slogans" to brainwash the way that people think of a product. Yeh this bulimic thing was long time a go. But it had a great impact on the way I think and see things :)
